to once again “decode” the Flower and Tree Expo
and the design concepts of each city’s exhibition area!
(The final presentation is subject to the actual exhibition)
“A hundred flowers compete in beauty, flowers illuminate the Star City.” The exhibition area uses the city flower, azalea, as a design element, incorporating buds, pistils, and petals to express Changsha’s romantic, artistic, imaginative, and creative city character.
Xiangtan, also known as “Lotus City” for its abundant Xiang lotus.
The exhibition area combines the “rare” and “precious” seedlings of Panlong azalea and colorful foliage plants with elements from the hometown of the great man, showcasing Xiangtan’s magnificent scene of “ten-mile flower corridor, hundred-acre flower sea.”
Hengyang, elegantly called “Wild Goose City,” has been an ecological land, religious holy land, and tourist destination since ancient times, bearing half of the Huxiang culture.
The exhibition area is equipped with classical antique shelves and Chinese flower stands, displaying new and improved varieties and scientific research achievements of Hengyang flower cultivation.
Zhangjiajie Exhibition Area
Zhangjiajie is one of China’s most important tourist cities and the birthplace and central area of the Hunan-Hubei-Chongqing-Guizhou revolutionary base.
The exhibition area uses a layout of “a hundred flowers blooming, a fairyland on earth, too beautiful to take in all at once” in one large and two small sections, displaying flowers, seedlings, strange stones, bonsai, and other exhibits to showcase Zhangjiajie’s rich resources of exotic flowers and rare trees.
Changde, anciently called “Wuling” and “Langzhou,” is known as the “throat of Sichuan and Guizhou, gateway to Yunnan and Guizhou.”
The exhibition area takes “Peach Blossom Spring” as its theme, using elements such as red boats, wooden gates, streams, waterscapes, and landscape paintings to outline the beauty of Peach Blossom Spring, creating a scene of “walking along the stream, beautiful scenery on both banks.”
Huaihua City, also called “Crane City,” is a national comprehensive transportation hub.
The exhibition area revolves around the design concept of “Wind and Rain Bridge,” with the idea of a flower and tree kingdom and ecological Wuxi, using themes like exotic flowers, strange stones, and unique trees to create a green world where “a few clumps of green indoors fill the room with fragrance.”
