On July 15, 2022, the first Hunan Cultural Tourism Technology Product Application and Display Series and the 2022 Hunan Cultural Tourism Equipment Expo provincial and municipal work coordination meeting, along with the Wangcheng District preparation work scheduling meeting, were held successively, marking the official launch of the Cultural Tourism Technology Application Exhibition, the inaugural event of the first Hunan Provincial Tourism Development Conference, entering the execution phase.

According to the overall arrangement of the Hunan Provincial Tourism Development Conference activities, the "First Hunan Cultural Tourism Technology Product Application and Display Series and 2022 Hunan Cultural Tourism Equipment Expo" (abbreviated as "Cultural Tourism Technology Application Exhibition"), as one of the series of activities of the first Hunan Provincial Tourism Development Conference, will be held from August 19 to August 21, 2022, at Shutang Mountain Ouyang Xun Cultural Park in Wangcheng District, Changsha City, with an extended exhibition period from August 21 to the end of October. Themed "Technology Empowers New Cultural Tourism, Innovation Leads New Life," this exhibition covers an area of 28,000 square meters, with 176 booths. The cultural tourism exhibition mainly consists of three sections: exhibition and display, summit forums, and supporting activities, focusing on showcasing new technologies, new products, and new achievements in the field of cultural tourism technology.
The exhibition section will intensively display products in areas such as high-tech cultural tourism equipment, amusement rides, parent-child experiences and immersive performances, and commercial services, creating a fully immersive exhibition.
