Infinite Winter Joy, All at Xiangjiang Happy Ocean

There is always a place that touches your girlish heart~ Every dreamy scene feels like a fairy tale. No matter how old you are, you have your own childlike heart, a joy far from the mundane. On a slightly cold winter day, you need some passion. I found in Changsha a happy time that belongs to every season of mine.

Located in Changsha's Dawangshan Resort, Xiangjiang Happy Ocean is the largest ocean park in Central China. Here, you can see various marine creatures, watch sea lion shows, observe penguins waddling... take beautiful photos, play various rides, and feel the park's enthusiasm. There are too many unmissable activities to explore. Follow my steps to see!

Near the entrance is the Rainforest Trail. As soon as you enter, it feels like the Amazon rainforest. Strange totem poles and dense rainforest are full of mystery. I didn't expect the rainforest here to be so photogenic, as if participating in a rainforest expedition!

First up is the crocodile. Look at its eyes, full of rainforest spirit. It reminds me of the crocodiles I saw by the roadside in the rainforest back then—it feels exactly the same!

Maya-style totems form the background of the fish tanks, where amazing fish swim. Although I don't know their names, I can feel the mysterious atmosphere of rainforest creatures.

Some magical fish even circle around people. This is a photo spot we all love—the effect is stunning!

Exiting the rainforest aquatic area, you see a towering tree. Hidden under it are various cute animals, like the recently popular capybara. Everyone loves the capybara's sense of ease, but this little capybara is quite active, wandering around! There are also little kangaroos bouncing around when they see us, trying to get to know each other!

The rainforest area's scenery is truly stunning, making me feel like I'm in Jurassic World, with unknowns lurking deep in the forest every second. Some of these scenes are for little squirrels, some are experience areas—all great for photos!

Finally, there's the dinosaur fossil cave. The colors and stalactite shapes are absolutely amazing!

[Great for photos] Blue Hole Curiosity

As seen in the promo videos, the mermaid princess aquarium is stunningly beautiful. The stone statue of the mermaid princess is wrapped in colorful corals, and groups of small fish swirl around her, full of underwater fantasy. This spot is so photogenic—one of my favorite photo spots!

Another highlight of this venue is the underwater tunnel. Walking through the underwater corridor, watching countless small fish swim overhead—it's so romantic!

Without diving into the sea, you can also see the same sardine run. It's so interesting—everyone studies the wonder of the run, with occasional lost fish rejoining the group!

[Great for photos] Mermaid Realm

Entering the underwater world with a panoramic dome, we enter another new underwater world. This is another venue I like—Mermaid Realm.

The colorful Mermaid Realm, with changing lights, and the dancing jellyfish make it dreamlike and enchanting. Passing through groups of jellyfish, you feel this romance accompanying you.

Inside is a large aquarium. Every side has many different fish species. Point and shoot, and you get a masterpiece. My favorite thing in an aquarium is being with the fish!

The Mermaid Restaurant is also a restaurant with atmosphere. On one side of the aquarium, there are dedicated views. It feels great to eat while watching the fish!

[Great for photos] Fairy Tale World

The ocean park is not only fun and photogenic indoors; outdoors is also easy to create a fairy tale world feel. For example, the D Space and Saige Theater in the Happy Harbor area are castle buildings themed around a snow world. Point and shoot, and you feel like you're in a northern fairy tale.

The Sea Beast Bay in the Ice World area feels like a world of great pirates. The Rapids Warrior has a big whale turning over. The charm of the ocean world fills the imagination.

[Fun] Aurora Castle

Let's see polar animals. In the snow world, Aurora Castle's setting is a fairy tale snow world. There are various stages to watch small marine animal performances. To see penguins, hurry upstairs!

There are many species of penguins, and you can tell their differences at a glance. The penguins are quite active, running around, up and down. With a splash, they dive into the water. In the water, they are pioneers, unmatched in speed!

There's also Hachimi sleeping, enjoying the leisurely afternoon.

You can see emperor penguins by the polar penguins. Some are lively, some are lazy and don't want to move. It's their molting season, and pecking their own feathers is a real skill!

The castle exit is the ocean park shop. If you like little penguins, don't miss it. So many cute penguins, from plush toys to bags—they're so lovable, I want to have them all! Each venue has a shop selling slightly different cute things, but all are full of surprises.

[Beautiful] Sea Lion Show

I love interacting with cute little animals the most, so the sea lion show is a must-see. Sea lions are so playful! In the Saige Theater castle, have a one-time meeting with the sea lions. Try to come early to sit closer and see their cute performances!

The sea lion show isn't just sea lions; it's a competition among three groups: the human group, the little sea lion, and the South American sea lion. Each shows off their exquisite talents, earning our praise! The little sea lion is the most interesting, clapping, acting proud, and even asking for kisses. So fun! Finally, there's stage interaction with visitors.

Don't underestimate the South American sea lion's sturdy build; its skills are not inferior to the little sea lion's. One-arm support, balancing balls, various technical feats—it's also full of cuteness! Such cheerful and relaxing shows are very popular!

[Beautiful] Parade of Floats

To watch the parade, you first need to know the main characters of Xiangjiang Happy Ocean: Captain Stardust and Gade, envoys from the planet Changsha, who travel through the stars on a landscape spaceship to future Earth, saving and protecting love and life. Finally, using the temporal power of three treasures, they return to Earth before its ecology was destroyed. During the mission to save Earth, they meet Tree God Gollan, Mermaid Princess Spori, White Whale Aurora, and Sea Lion Saige. In the parade, you can see these main characters and their cute floats. Dance to the music, and share this peaceful and beautiful world with them!

[Others] Rides and Attractions

Besides the ocean world, there are many fun rides. You can enjoy multiple kinds of fun at once! For example, my favorite thrilling roller coasters: there are two types—Joy Ride Roller Coaster and Passion Speed. There's also Rapids Warrior, Fly Over Somalia, Hurricane Flying Chair, Clock Crossing, etc. For less thrilling options, there are Jungle Spin, Seahorse Rally, etc. Whether male or female, old or young, everyone can find a suitable ride!

There's also Gade Children's Paradise, a play area designed specifically for kids. Both adults and children love the slide ball pit, a small Ferris wheel, and the VR experience of the Changsha. So interesting!

Subway: Take Metro Line 3 directly, get off at 'Tongxi Station', and walk 8 minutes to the main entrance of Xiangjiang Happy Ocean. If it's your first time and you want to try the Cloud Rail, transfer at 'Shantang Station' to the Cloud Rail, which passes right through the middle of the park. If coming from other provinces, take Line 6 from the airport and transfer to Line 3. The trip takes about 1.5 hours. Transportation is very convenient!
