Beishan Botanical Garden, also known as Changsha Botanical Garden, is located beside the Beishan Reservoir. It covers a vast area, wherein nearly ten thousand plum blossom trees are in full bloom, accounting for 11.4% of the garden's greenery area. Now, it is exactly the season for plum blossoms to flourish. The garden is a sea of flowers, with white, pink, and red plum blossoms interwoven, forming a beautiful spring scene.
Changjiazhai Scenic Area is located in Fugao Village, Beishan Town, Changsha County, 15 kilometers from Changsha county town. It covers a total area of 2.1 square kilometers and is one of the five major scenic areas of Beishan Provincial Forest Park. The area is rich in vegetation with diverse species, and the forest coverage rate exceeds 90%. The air quality is Grade 1, with negative oxygen ion concentrations ranging from 2,100 to 18,318 per cubic centimeter. It is a rare 'natural oxygen bar.' The excellent air quality and abundant water resources provide suitable living conditions and space for wildlife. Currently, over a hundred species of wild animals are recorded in the area, including more than ten species under national second-level key protection.
