At first, I didn't know what Suyan was, but when I saw the sign for a vegetarian restaurant, I realized it was a dining place. The name was pleasant, and the environment was quite nice. Suyan Restaurant adheres to light and simple food. It's not 100% vegan, but rather mostly vegetarian with a small selection of carefully chosen non-vegetarian items. The dishes suit the tastes of modern people and those interested in health and wellness.

The environment of Suyan Restaurant matches its name—simple and unpretentious. The modest and elegant atmosphere creates a perfect setting for vegetarian dining. The ambiance and feeling are truly wonderful, and the indoor brightness and ventilation are excellent. Shanye Jun loves this kind of environment and decoration style! It's clear that this restaurant is not only about vegetarian dishes but also about the refined simplicity of the dining space.

When it comes to vegetarian restaurants, many might immediately think they are exclusively for Buddhist disciples, but that's not true! Our ancestors' earliest food came from the land, and they ate very healthily. In ancient times, many people lived to a ripe old age, which proves that eating more plant-based foods is beneficial for health. Of course, vegetarianism doesn't mean completely abstaining from animal products; it simply means eating lighter compared to a meat-based diet. It does not prohibit eating meat entirely. For example, Shanye Jun, a vegetarian, still enjoys eating fish and seafood.

When eating, one can choose 80% vegetarian food and 20% meat, seafood, or other non-vegetarian items. This combination is the most perfect. Eating purely vegetarian food cannot meet the nutritional needs and energy expenditure of modern people. On the other hand, eating only meat is not healthy and puts extra stress on cells. The accumulation of unsaturated fatty acids on capillary walls over time leads to many internal wastes and toxins, which harms health. Therefore, vegetarianism advocates a combination of mostly plant-based dishes with a small portion of animal-based foods!

Many mistakenly believe that a strict vegan diet is exclusive to Buddhism. However, in the Buddhist Medicine Master Sutra, it is said that if all beings observe the eight precepts, they will receive infinite blessings.
