Roaming the World (1427): Winter Visit to Tiger Beach Ocean Park (Part 2) Coral Museum

Because it was during the pandemic and also winter, only the Bird Forest and Coral Museum were open that day. After leaving the Bird Forest, we came to the Coral Museum. This is a photo of my little grandson at the Coral Museum.

Tiger Beach Ocean Park Coral Museum is located within Tiger Beach Park in Zhongshan District, Dalian. It opened in May 2003. It is said to be the largest coral museum in China. Photo taken at the entrance of the Coral Museum.

A "submarine tunnel" more than ten meters long and holding over 200 tons of water displays corals and coral reef fish at a 90-degree angle for the first time in China.

In the Seabed Laboratory area, there are interactive exhibits such as the vortex fish, electronic photo album, periscope, electron microscope, vacuum tank, and underwater concert, allowing visitors to learn professional knowledge about the ocean unconsciously, experience the mystery of the underwater world, and appreciate the wonders of modern high-tech displays. If you visit the Coral Museum during peak season, there will also be wonderful performances in the show area, including underwater ballet, mermaid shows, and underwater dream weddings.
