1. Drive along the Shen-Da Expressway to the Paotai Town section of Wafangdian (exit at the former "Zhuanshan Tou" highway exit), then follow road signs to Pikou Port. Transfer to a ferry from Pikou Port to Dachangshan Island.
2. Drive along the Shen-Da Expressway to the Pulandian section (exit at the "Shihe" highway exit, where signs are clear and road conditions are good), then follow road signs to Pikou Port. Transfer to a ferry from Pikou Port to Dachangshan Island. We recommend choosing the second route.
There is no need to get off at Dalian Station. Instead, get off at Pulandian Railway Station, then take a public bus from the station square to Pikou Port. Transfer to a ferry from Pikou Port to Dachangshan Island—it is convenient and fast.
You can take a bus from Dalian to Pulandian Pikou, or charter a car, or take a return car from Dalian to Pikou (40 yuan per person). Then transfer to a ferry from Pikou Port to Dachangshan Island.
Drive along the Huanghai Avenue to the Yangshufang highway exit, then follow road signs to Pikou Port. Transfer to a ferry from Pikou Port to Dachangshan Island.
There are three main ports in the Dalian area with navigation to Changhai: Dalian Port, Jinshitan Port, and Pulandian Pikou Port. The drive from Dalian to Pikou Port takes about 2 hours. From Dalian, take the Huanghai Avenue Expressway to reach Pikou Port, Pulandian.
1. From Dalian Port, take the Zhangzidao high-speed luxury speedboat to Xiaoyanchang Village, Dachangshan Island Town, Changhai County. Departs from Dalian Port daily at 8:00 AM. Returns from Dachangshan (Jinshitan Port) at 1:30 PM. Travel time is about 2 hours.
2. From Dalian Jinshitan Port, take the Zhangzidao No. 3 high-speed luxury speedboat (80 seats). Departs from Jinshitan Port daily at 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM.
3. From Dalian Pikou Port to the islands of Changhai County: There are multiple daily departures from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM (extended to 5:00 PM during tourist season), including speedboats, regular passenger ships, and passenger-cargo ro-ro ships.
