Dalian Zhuanghe Haiwang Nine Islands Nanhai Resort Hotel: Seagull Views, Seascapes, and Fresh Seafood Every Meal!
Every summer, I spend a couple of days on an island, inviting a few friends to a small island in Dalian Zhuanghe for a vacation and fun at the sea. It's a beautiful, rich, ancient yet trendy, magical, and colorful paradise on earth.
This year, to avoid the crowds, three friends and I decided to go to the island in early July. Before setting off, we carefully weighed our options and finally chose the Nanhai Resort Hotel on Haiwang Nine Islands in Zhuanghe.
We went on a weekend. We drove from Kaiyuan at 4:30 AM and arrived at Zhuanghe Port at 9:20 AM, just in time for the 9:40 AM ferry. The boss was very friendly and welcoming. He sent me the schedule for the round-trip passenger ferry from Zhuanghe to Wangjia Island on Haiwang Nine Islands. The ferry ride took about an hour and a half. Along the way, the blue sky, white clouds, emerald sea, and seagulls accompanied us all the way.
Choosing the right place to eat and stay is the most important thing when visiting an island. Because if you choose poorly, it can affect the quality of your trip. So instead of choosing the fisherman's guesthouse that my friends had been to, I did a lot of research myself. After comparing options, I finally chose the Nanhai Resort Hotel. It really didn't disappoint us, and all the effort was worth it. The accommodation and dining conditions were fantastic!
The courtyard was clean and tidy. The dining areas were on the first and second floors, with private rooms available. The dining room was spacious and bright, adjacent to the lobby, and just 30 meters from the sea. Free parking was provided.
The rooms were fully equipped, clean, tidy, spacious, and bright. Through the window, you could see the vast blue sea—a genuine sea-view room where you could fully enjoy the passion and joy of the ocean.
The natural scenery here is unique, with abundant tourism resources, and the food is no exception. On the island, eating seafood every day is common. Every meal was a delicious seafood feast, each with different varieties.
The fragrant and delicious boiled scallops, boiled oysters, boiled conch, boiled clams, and boiled crabs—each one full of color, aroma, and flavor. We also tried seaweed buns, which I had never eaten in my life. No restaurant in the city can make them like this.
This is a paradise for foodies: oysters, scallops, prawns, conch, flying crabs, mantis shrimp—all freshly caught from the sea, fresh and authentic!
In addition, there are authentic sea cucumber products, all from their own sources, genuine and worth every penny.
In the early morning, stand in front of the room to watch the sunrise over the sea. At high tide, you can take a boat out to sea and witness how fish are caught firsthand, experiencing being a real fisherman for a day. If you like fishing, you're in luck—you can get your fill. When the fishing rod trembles and you reel it in, a lively fish will make you dance with excitement and thrill!
The bonfire party never stops! Here, you can take a fishing boat, enjoy the scenery, eat seafood, take beautiful photos, and invite friends or bring family to fully enjoy a cool summer by the sea!
