Wandering the World (1575): Dalian Lan Mountain Park
One day in late April 2022, I visited Dalian Lan Mountain Park by car with family and friends. The photos were taken at Lan Mountain Park.
Lan Mountain Park is located in the western suburbs of Dalian and is part of the Dalian Western Suburbs National Forest Park. The Dalian Western Suburbs National Forest Park is divided into four scenic areas: Xishan Lake Scenic Area, Tangli Lake Scenic Area, Hongqi Valley Scenic Area, and Changqing Lake Scenic Area. Lan Mountain Park is situated within the Tangli Lake Scenic Area. The picture shows a guide map of Lan Mountain Park.
The driving route to Lan Mountain Park: Follow Hongqi West Road to the vicinity of the West Suburbs National Forest Park Visitor Center. The picture shows a five-star restroom by the roadside of Lan Mountain Park.
In the mild spring weather, Lan Mountain Park is ablaze with flowers—truly a breathtaking sight!

Starting from the Rujing Pavilion at the foot of the park, we climbed the 618-step Panyun Ladder (Cloud-Climbing Boardwalk) step by step, enjoying the pleasure of hiking, inhaling fresh air, and treading on the spring greenery. The wild charm of the mountains can only be known by those who hike them!

Nestled in the western suburbs of Dalian, Lan Mountain Park is shrouded in dense green trees and mountains, with an irrepressible mountain air.

Halfway up the mountain, there is a delicate and elegant Tong Pavilion, which is the fifth bronze pavilion built in China. It is named for its bronze material and situated on Lan Mountain. Inside the pavilion, one can enjoy the changing seasons among the mountains and waters.
Clusters of moss phlox flowers embrace the green forest and reflect in the lake—a truly lovely sight!
The pale green grass and dark green leaves bloom with passion but without ostentation, yet they are just as dazzling. This secret garden of flowers and trees makes visitors linger and forget to return.

The cherry blossom period is quite long, expected to last until June. As can be seen from the photos, the sea of flowers is still being planted and expanded.
Gazing into the distance, green mountains stand tall and lake water flows; up close, flowers bloom into a sea and birds sing crisply. The whole world seems to leave only the sound of one's own heartbeat and breathing.

Lan Mountain Park, where cultural heritage and natural resources complement each other, boasts not only captivating moss phlox but also well-equipped parking lots, five-star public restrooms, and more.
