Roaming the World (1576): Dalian Changqing Lake

Changqing Lake scenic area is located within Dalian Western Suburb National Forest Park, in Liujia Village, Hongqi Street, Ganjingzi District. The lake is surrounded by dense forests, with towering trees and a gentle breeze that instantly calms the mind. It is said that over 20,000 square meters of trees and flowers have been planted around Changqing Lake, greatly beautifying the lake's surrounding environment.

The greenery and flowers within sight let you immerse yourself in nature.

Around Changqing Lake scenic area, there are leisure culture squares, Guo'an Coffee shop, a hundred-meter corridor, an ecological parking lot, waterfront docks, observation decks, etc.

Changqing Lake is embraced by rugged mountains on all sides, with lush grass and tall pines and cypresses covering the hills. It is this unique natural setting that creates the unparalleled beautiful scenery of Changqing Lake.

Blue sky, sunshine, green mountains, clear water, fresh flowers... Truly a place of endless verdant calm, perfect for relaxing the body and mind and enjoying leisure. The lake itself is not very large, but the surrounding ecological environment is excellent, nestled against the mountains and by the water, with various plants along the shore.

Now in the season when cherry blossoms bloom, clusters of flowers, combined with other plants, create a unique charm.

There are many fish in the lake; if you are lucky, you might even see the 'fish king'.

The mirror-like lake surface is sometimes disturbed by birds diving for food.

A 5-kilometer-long wooden boardwalk winds around the lake like a dragon, appearing and disappearing in the lush greenery. Strolling along the boardwalk and enjoying slow time in the pavilions, you can appreciate the elegant charm of Changqing Lake with poetic feelings.

By the shore of Changqing Lake, outside the cherry orchard, beside the wooden boardwalk, under the willow trees, there sits an artistic and cozy coffee shop—Guo'an Coffee. It is a three-story ecological wooden attic, with a fresh environment and elegant, refined decoration.

Surrounded by flowers, sunshine, green mountains, and clear water, you can enjoy freshly ground coffee, fresh fruit drinks, and various teas. You can come alone for some self-indulgent scenery appreciation, enjoy a romantic date for two, gather the whole family for happiness, or meet with a few friends to savor life. Because it is not on the main road, there is little traffic, and as it is a water source protection area, there is no pollution. It is simply real mountains and waters, a truly great place to get close to nature.

If you like sports, hiking here is also a great choice. Many families come out for outings, find a spacious place to set up a tent, and can easily spend a whole day here without getting bored.

There are also rowboats here: 15 yuan for adults, 10 yuan for children, but with a time limit.

On the lakeshore, 37 species of trees, totaling more than 720,000, have been planted, including Beijing peach, crape myrtle, Malus spectabilis, Chinese scholar tree, Euonymus maackii, red maple, golden privet, etc. In spring, a hundred flowers bloom in a splendid display.

The scenic area boasts Dalian's first horticultural, ecological, and environmental demonstration road, Lingliu Road, which is 5 kilometers long and 12 meters wide, with a 6-kilometer-long tourist landscape boardwalk along the road.
