Wandering the World (1578): Dalian Yinggeshi Botanical Garden

Construction of Dalian Yinggeshi Botanical Garden began in 2003. Leveraging its unique geographical and natural conditions, it engaged world-renowned landscape designer Junichi Inada and David Patterson, Deputy Director of the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, as advisors. The most spectacular and largest area is the Moss Phlox Garden.

The small flowers of moss phlox cover the entire hillside, emitting bursts of fragrance that assail the nose, resembling scattered little cherry blossoms.

The Moss Phlox Garden covers an area of 60,000 square meters, with nearly 3 million moss phlox plants!

Moss phlox spreads like a pink carpet, blanketing the hillside in a fluffy embrace, grand and magnificent.

This is where visitors gather the most! We entered right when the garden opened, so there weren't too many people yet.

The Tulip Garden at Dalian Yinggeshi Botanical Garden is on a hillside, planted with about 1 million tulips.

There are over 30 varieties of tulips at Dalian Yinggeshi Botanical Garden.

The Children's Playground at Dalian Yinggeshi Botanical Garden covers an area of 30,000 square meters, mainly providing play and entertainment for children aged 4 to 12.

The Children's Playground features various games and amusement facilities, including wooden slides, climbing nets, space climbing rooms, spinning balls, physical training, magic trees, swing-slide combos, and top-of-the-line non-motorized trampolines from Japan. Dalian Yinggeshi Botanical Garden is a sea of flowers, with millions of blossoms including moss phlox, tulips, peonies, peach blossoms, and crabapple flowers competing to bloom. Walking among them feels like wandering in an ocean of flowers.

Yinggeshi Botanical Garden is quite large, with three lakes, hills, and water features. It takes 3 to 4 hours to explore fully.

To reach Dalian Yinggeshi Botanical Garden by public transport: Take Bus No. 535 in Dalian to the terminal station Anziling (starting station: Dalian Malan Square Station, fare 1 yuan). There are several self-driving routes to Dalian Yinggeshi Botanical Garden: The closest is via Lüshun Middle Road: Malan Square → Hongqi East Road → Hongqi Middle Road → Hongqi West Road → Mabei Road, enter the Anziling Tunnel, and continue straight for 3.8 km after exiting the tunnel to reach the garden.
