Xiapu In-depth Tour 4: Xilu Bridge, Limao Mountain - Banyueli, Dong'an - Xiaqingshan Bridge

The story and scenery of Xilu Bridge in Zhujiang Village, Shajiang Town were introduced in 'Xiapu In-depth Tour 3'. It can be included in the Changchun-Dongchong Peninsula outer sea route, or arranged on the Shajiang-Xinan-Yantian route.

Xiaoma Village in Shajiang Town is the starting point of Xilu Bridge, and the site of the Huangguashan Shell Mound (not yet developed). Along the small stream, there are folk displays such as fishermen's tools.

From Xiaoma (Village), cross the bridge (Xiapu - Nanping Village, Shajiang Town - Xinan direction), adjacent to Shuichao (Village). Outside the village wall, a fork leads to Banyueli. Don't rush to turn yet; just ahead is Limao Mountain (Mantou Mountain) in Weijiang Village, Xinan Town.

Limao Mountain is also a must-visit spot for photographers to capture sunrise. After viewing, split into two groups: if you want to see ancient She ethnic cultural villages and folk customs, turn back to Shuichao Village (outside the ancient city wall) and head toward Banyueli Village. If going to Dong'an Island, continue forward to the pier at Taijiang Village, Xinan Town.

Dong'an fishing rafts gained worldwide fame due to the Chinese footage in the Rio Olympics promotional video.

Dong'an hiking tour: From Xiapu County South Road Station (about 45 minutes by car) - Taijiang Pier, Xinan Town - Guanmen - Wengli Natural Village - Dong'an - Dong'an Pier - Taijiang Pier - return (approximately 6 hours).

Chartered car tour: Guanmen Bridge (walk across) - walk toward Guanmen to Wengli Natural Village (scenery along the way; you can stop as desired) - drive to the top of the slope at Wengli Natural Village, then start hiking (the ancient path is secluded; the timid should not enter) to Dong'an Village, with the car returning to Dong'an Village to pick you up (approximately 2 hours total).

Dong'an speedboat tour: Shuttle among the fishing rafts to experience the Venice of the East scenery (approximately 1 hour).

Xiapu - Nanping Village, Shajiang - Xiaoma Village - Shuichao Village (or via Banyueli - Xinan) - Weijiang Village - Taijiang Village - Xinan (county road) - Xiaqingshan Bridge - Yantian Highway Entrance - Xiapu forms a loop. Passing through Xiaqingshan Bridge is worth a brief stop.
