It's been 11 months and 2 days since this trip. Looking back now, besides the winding transfer experiences, it's the endless blue sky and the green as far as the eye can see that linger in my memory.

The journey was tough: bullet train, two rural buses, plus a ferry. After arriving on the island, in order to truly experience "an island for one," I chose to walk to the campsite. The two-hour hike along the undulating cliffside path, accompanied by the late summer sea breeze, blew away the loneliness of this special holiday. Yes, during the Mid-Autumn Festival mini-vacation in 2019, I came here alone, thinking it would be just an ordinary trip, but it has remained unforgettable to this day. Perhaps it's the memory of that simple 15-yuan seafood noodles, or maybe it's the moment when I opened the door at dawn and was greeted by the vast sea. With the morning sea breeze and the rising sun, a bowl of plain congee and a dish of pickled vegetables—at that instant, I wished time could stand still.

The allure of travel lies in never knowing what will happen. On this trip to Dayu Island, I met Sister Xiaoxiao by Tianhu Lake, who was also traveling solo. We took pictures of each other against the beautiful sea, and later ran into each other again on the island bus. As fate would have it, we exchanged WeChat contacts. Although we haven't been in touch for a long time, occasionally seeing her travel posts on Moments reminds me of the laughter we shared. I think that's the charm of travel.

Finally, there's the plus-sized Fuding sliced meat. I remember it simply because it was a bit expensive, haha~ Good night (love bee).
