Self-driving Tour around Cuiping Lake in Gutian

Cuiping Lake in Gutian is located in the eastern suburbs of Gutian County, Ningde City, Fujian Province. In 1958, the construction of the Gutianxi Hydropower Station, a key project of the national First Five-Year Plan, caused the dam to impound water, submerging the old county town of Gutian and forming an artificial freshwater lake with a water area of 37.1 square kilometers.
