National Day Cultural Tourism Week, Lights Up the Bustling Night of Qidu

As autumn wind rises and red flags flutter, Qidu's night is aglow with shimmering lights. On September 30, the "Golden Autumn National Day, Trendy Fun in Qidu" National Day Cultural Tourism Week and the "Prosperous Wujiang Night, Happy Shopping in Qidu" Twin Towers Night Market opening event officially launched at Qidu Taihu Wetland Park. This event is hosted by the Qidu Town People's Government, aiming to respond to Suzhou's nighttime economy policy, combine Qidu's cultural tourism resource advantages, enrich the night life of residents and tourists, add a festive atmosphere to Qidu's National Day night, and create the "night charm" of a brightly lit Qidu.

On the evening of September 30, brilliant lights illuminated Qidu, officially kicking off the colorful night life of Qidu's National Day. Twenty children presented paintings to the motherland on site, using their colors to depict the motherland in their hearts, offering their best wishes to the country. All the paintings will be exhibited at Qidu Taihu Wetland Park during the National Day holiday.

To highlight the charm of Qidu's nighttime economy, more than 20 market vendors gathered in Qidu, integrating dining, shopping, entertainment, culture and other elements to create a National Day nighttime consumption feast, driving Qidu's nighttime consumption and making it a must-visit spot for National Day outings. On the first day of its opening, the Qidu Twin Towers Night Market was crowded and exceptionally lively, with many residents and tourists coming to check in. The entire Qidu was filled with a strong festive atmosphere.

On the lawn of Qidu Wetland Park, some residents and tourists sat in tents enjoying the beautiful music played by folk bands, while others sat on the ground. The moving singing, accompanied by the autumn lake breeze, echoed under the stars and moonlight, appearing particularly poetic. In between band performances, patriotic films were occasionally shown, resonating the patriotic theme throughout Qidu.

In June this year, Qidu launched the landscape lighting project along the Taihu Lake wetland, creating a new night tour landmark with Qidu characteristics, enriching the lakeside night leisure life while building a new cultural tourism business card for Qidu. This special activity of the National Day Cultural Tourism Week is an upgrade of Qidu's Taihu Wetland landscape lighting project and a substantive measure for Qidu to further promote the development of the nighttime economy. We believe that this National Day, more tourists will come to Qidu to experience the splendid and charming lakeside night of Qidu.
