Germany October Train Travelogue (Part 2)
Due to the image limit, I had to start a new travelogue to continue the journey! (Day 11)
From Nuremberg, I set off to Ingolstadt for shopping, where there is a famous outlet in Bavaria. Just buy a state ticket, 26 euros for two people.
Back to Nuremberg for dinner!
Shopping at Ingolstadt Village
Traveled to Munich by train. It rained today, cold! (Day 12)
Ingolstadt truly lives up to its reputation as the center of Audi – the entire central station was filled with Audis ready for transport.
The birthplace of King Ludwig II, the owner of Neuschwanstein Castle. A must-see, but unfortunately it rained heavily, so I went in the rain.
Visited BMW. Since it rained today, I didn't go to the Olympic Sports Center. This is my third time visiting the BMW Center!
I met many Chinese people here speaking Mandarin, mostly tour groups. The Munich white sausage here is excellent! The price is reasonable.
Departed from Munich train station to Fussen. (Day 13)
Scenery along the railway
Snow-covered landscapes all along, truly beautiful!
As I approached Fussen, everything was a vast expanse of white.
Today's destination
I saw it on the road, no need to go see it up close.
Today's destination – it was snowing and cold. There was no vehicle going up the mountain today, so tiring!
Two-hour train ride back to Munich, the rain stopped, and the sunset was beautiful!
This restaurant is another highly recommended one! It was the last dinner of this Germany trip!
The Germany trip is about to end! From here, take the S1 or S8 to the airport. I took the S8 when arriving, so I'll take the S1 for the return – two different directions, so I can see more of Munich. Today's last attraction: Munich International Airport (Day 14)
Leaving soon, taking the S-Bahn to the airport, about an hour.
The last stop of the Germany trip
I'll arrive in Hong Kong tomorrow, a 19-hour flight! Another endurance test. Will continue reporting in Hong Kong on Hong Kong food.
After ten hours of flight, back to the motherland's capital Beijing, back to China! Then continue transferring to return to Hong Kong. Today is the last day of my vacation, time flies!
Friendly reminder: If your visa expires on the day of return, you cannot use the passport transit method to return to Hong Kong. You must first enter, then exit again, and use the Hong Kong and Macau travel permit!!!
Finally back in Hong Kong, rushed to Hung Hom Station for the return trip. This vacation itinerary is over!
Today the weather in Hong Kong is great, 30 degrees, suddenly back from winter to summer.
Still filled with famous shops, bustling!
Final summary: I found that the service awareness of overseas civil servants is better than that in China, and the degree of networking and humanization is higher. However, the integrity of Germans is significantly better than that of Chinese people. All subways, buses, and even trains use random ticket checks, yet no one evades fares.
A 13-day trip to Germany still felt insufficient; it passed quickly, and there are many places I want to see again.
It seems traveling around a country is the right approach to better understand the local culture.
Germany, in my opinion, is a relatively rational country, with strictness in everything.
After two years, I returned to Germany and found that prices have risen quite a bit. I wonder if it's because of events or exhibitions in major German cities in October.
Looking forward to next year's long vacation, continuing a travelogue around another European country.
