A Trip to Hong Kong for Blood Test, 2 Days and 3 Nights at Hong Kong Disneyland
I had always been looking forward to a trip to Hong Kong Disneyland, and my baby was also cooperative, coming into my belly. Since I was going to Hong Kong for a blood test, I might as well take the chance to have some fun at Hong Kong Disneyland!
With the opening of the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Express Rail Link, traveling to Hong Kong has become even more convenient and faster. After the high-speed rail started operation, the travel time for friends from Fuzhou to Hong Kong has been shortened by one-third. Many cities can now take the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Express Rail Link directly to Hong Kong West Kowloon Station. From now on, going to Hong Kong no longer means dragging luggage around and wasting so much time on the road. Just enjoy the holiday to the fullest! [Itinerary for the Hong Kong Blood Test Trip with My Husband]
DAY 1: Fuzhou → Hong Kong West Kowloon → Hong Kong Harbour City Genetic Center for blood test → Hong Kong Disneyland → Main Street, U.S.A. → Adventureland → Grizzly Gulch → Kali River Rapids → Moana: A Homecoming Celebration → Jungle River Cruise → “We Love Mickey!” Main Street Projection Show → Disney Explorers Lodge
(The clinic environment was quiet and comfortable. My husband is expecting a little princess. Since my belly is still small (6 weeks), I came to Hong Kong to have some fun and also find out the baby’s gender early to make preparations. Fortunately, the blood draw didn’t take long; it was done in half an hour. Whether it’s a prince or a princess, I believe we will give them the best love.)

(On the second day, I received the blood test result from Harbour City Genetic Center. It turned out to be a little prince. My husband was a bit disappointed and said he definitely wanted a little princess, haha)
DAY 3: Disney Explorers Lodge → Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel → Tai Chi with Master Goofy → Crystal Lotus Restaurant
From West Kowloon Station to Hong Kong Disneyland Resort: You can take the MTR or other transportation directly to the park. Hong Kong Disneyland has set up a “Magical Express Service Center” at West Kowloon Station, allowing high-speed rail passengers to experience the magic in advance. Not only can you check in, but you can also enjoy luggage delivery directly to the hotel.
After storing our luggage at the Magical Express Service Center and getting our room keys, we headed straight to Hong Kong Disneyland.
The staff kindly helped us store our luggage. MTR – Kowloon Station: Take MTR to Kowloon Station ① Upon arrival at the arrival hall, after passing through customs gates, turn right to reach the “Hong Kong Disneyland Resort: Magical Express” Service Center; ② Follow the signs to take the pedestrian bridge to “Elements” (a large shopping mall in Kowloon); ③ Inside Elements, go straight and follow the signs to “Kowloon Station”; ④ Arrive at Kowloon Station, follow the signs to the Tung Chung Line (orange signs), take the train towards Tung Chung; ⑤ Get off at Sunny Bay Station, transfer to the Disneyland Resort Line on the opposite platform; ⑥ Arrive at Hong Kong Disneyland Station, exit the gates, and follow signs to the park or use the hotel shuttle bus. Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel Shuttle Bus: To celebrate the opening of the Hong Kong section of the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Express Rail Link, Hong Kong Disneyland has set up a free shuttle bus from West Kowloon Station directly to the park. ① If you take the Express Rail Link and have booked accommodation at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, you can use the free shuttle service on the day of check-in and departure. To reserve seats, please first go to the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort Magical Express Service Center located in the arrival hall; ② Upon arrival at the arrival hall, after passing through customs gates, turn left or right to reach the “Hong Kong Disneyland Resort: Magical Express” Service Center; ③ At the service center, you can check in and reserve seats for the shuttle bus to Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel; ④ Cast members at the “Hong Kong Disneyland Resort: Magical Express” Service Center will assist you in reserving shuttle bus seats and direct you to the shuttle bus pick-up location.
[Kali River Rapids] Our first stop was the Kali River Rapids next to the “Jungle Theater” in Adventureland. This area is decorated with vibrant colors, upbeat music, and unique decorations, creating a strong African atmosphere.
Here, you can also have a chance to meet many Disney friends, such as Carl and Russell from “Up,” Rafiki and Timon from “The Lion King,” and Lilo and Stitch, who will come to the market to meet you.
[Moana: A Homecoming Celebration] Remember Moana, the heroine of the hit animated film “Moana”? The “Moana: A Homecoming Celebration” is the first 20-minute show in a Disney park worldwide themed around Moana, the heroine of the film. You can interact with the performers on stage. The show combines storytelling, acting, dance, props, and music, allowing you to use your creativity and imagination to participate in the stage performance.
[Jungle River Cruise] After the show, we went on the Jungle River Cruise. Here, you can experience an exciting river adventure while enjoying the African primitive jungle atmosphere along the shore.
If you are an adventure lover, it is highly recommended that you sit in the front rows because you can see everything clearly.
Before we knew it, our adventure boat had almost reached the end, passing through various thrilling scenes along the way.
[“We Love Mickey” Main Street Projection Show] After dinner at the Rocket Restaurant, the sky gradually darkened. A light show featuring Mickey Mouse’s charming charm was performed on Main Street, U.S.A.: the brand new “We Love Mickey!” Main Street Projection Show.
This is the Disney Explorers Lodge where we stayed overnight. Opened in 2017, it has 750 rooms and is a resting place designed for explorers. Here, if you explore carefully, you will find small surprises everywhere, worth discovering! The hotel also provides each guest with a fast pass for designated rides at the park, so you no longer have to wait in line!
The rooms are very spacious, each with a different exotic style: the room decor finely depicts the characteristics of four tropical regions – Asia, Oceania, South America, and Africa, giving an adventurous feel. Not only that, but the hotel also has four themed gardens with different themes.
Entering Mystic Manor, you are greeted by multiple exhibition halls filled with photos, paintings, and rare collectibles. These exhibits will take you on the thrilling adventures of Lord Henry and Albert around the world.
Mystic Manor has more than 8 exhibition halls filled with various collectibles. Unintentionally, they come to life vividly, waiting for you to explore one by one.
[Toy Story Land] “Toy Story Land” continues the vitality of the global box-office hit animated film “Toy Story.” It is designed based on the favorite toys of the film’s protagonist, Andy, integrating the story into various entertainment projects in the area. It is suitable for guests of all ages. Visitors feel like they are walking in a giant toy world, becoming little people and going on adventures with the toys from the animation.
The Hong Kong blood test trip brought me a little prince, and the Hong Kong Disneyland trip was full of fun!
