The 'Carmo Garden' is part of the 'Casas-Museu da Taipa' scenic area, one of the eight scenic spots in Macau! Completed in 1955, the historical value of its location has been recognized by the Macau government.

'Casas-Museu da Taipa', also known as 'Taipa Houses-Museum', is a cluster of Portuguese-style buildings. They were originally the residences of senior officials on the outlying islands of Macau and some Macanese families. In 1992, the Macau Portuguese government restored and transformed them into a residential museum.
The museum includes the Lifestyle Museum, Art Gallery, Scenery Museum, Reception Hall, and Creativity Museum. Among them, the Creativity Museum features a 'Taipa and Portuguese-style Cultural Products Zone', displaying and selling local cultural products related to Taipa and Portuguese characteristics.
The color scheme of the museum is refreshing mint green, a soothing color that brings a hint of coolness and comfort, and it's also a popular spot for wedding photos~
