Weekend Hong Kong Trip - Including Ocean Park Scenery [Many Photos]
It has been two years since my last trip to Hong Kong. My husband had been unable to leave due to work. But this time, because I am pregnant, I convinced him to go to Hong Kong together and also get a non-invasive prenatal test (NIPT).
Since a close friend works at a hospital, I have heard many stories about babies born with deformities, so we take our baby's health very seriously. The NIPT in Hong Kong still has great advantages over what we have here.
After confirming the itinerary, we made an appointment in advance with the Hong Kong Women's and Children's Clinic. Taking advantage of the weekend, we set off for Hong Kong and began our Hong Kong trip.
First stop: Sheung Shui Station - Hong Kong Women's and Children's Clinic
We crossed the border at Luohu Port and took the MTR to Sheung Shui Station. Since everything was booked in advance, the entire process was finished in half an hour.
Second stop: Tsim Sha Tsui - Shopping spree
We booked a hotel near Tsim Sha Tsui. Although it was a bit expensive, it was close to Harbour City and SOGO, making it very convenient for shopping. Because of my pregnancy, I needed to replace many skincare products, and my friend also asked me to bring some things for her. I already knew my wallet was doomed, haha.
You can really get lost shopping in Harbour City—there are all kinds of brands. After buying some cosmetics, it was already quite late, so we decided to take a stroll to Victoria Harbour to enjoy the breeze and night view. The big steps in front of the seaside buildings were full of people sitting and enjoying the sea breeze and cooling off—very relaxing and comfortable.
Third stop: Hong Kong Ocean Park
We got up early the next day, had breakfast at the hotel, packed up, and headed out to Hong Kong Ocean Park.
When we arrived at Ocean Park, it wasn't very crowded. We took the sightseeing tram up the mountain and then walked down from the summit, choosing different pavilions to explore at our leisure. I won't go into detail here! Finally, let me share some beautiful photos of Ocean Park with you.
After having fun until around 4 p.m., we returned to the hotel to pick up our luggage and headed home. Crossing back to Shenzhen through the automated e-channels was quite fast. All in all, our weekend Hong Kong trip ended perfectly~
