Enough said, let me present to you the must-visit seaside photo spots.

01. First Stop of the Hong Kong Island Seaside Trendy Tour: Exhibition Centre Station

Arriving in the morning, the first recommended photo spot is the Wan Chai Promenade, just a 5-minute walk from Exhibition Centre Station Exit B. The Ferry Pier Themed Area features a minimalist fair-faced concrete style and is adorned with Wan Chai-themed photo frames, perfect for photos.

Walking a bit further, you'll see the colorful Water Sports and Recreation Themed Area, which takes inspiration from the 'Chocolate Rain' series by local renowned illustrator Ms. Maxine Yeung, filled with a cute and artistic atmosphere.

The theme area features a 'Coastal Step' with a railing-free design, allowing you to sit on the steps and get close to the waterfront. Here, you can also rent duck boats along the Victoria Harbour shore, enjoying the sea breeze and the beautiful harbor views.

The second stop of the Hong Kong Island seaside tour is Fortress Hill East Coast Park

Themed Area

Take the Island Line from Admiralty Station to Fortress Hill Station, and it's about a 7-minute walk from Exit A. East Coast Park is one of Hong Kong's hottest recent attractions, full of photo-worthy spots. It features Hong Kong's first breakwater open to the public, with a railing-free design that lets you walk directly to the large rocks by the shore and sit to watch the sea—very romantic.

The 'Little Egg' at the end of the breakwater is also a photo hotspot; it was originally a tunnel ventilation shaft, visible from afar. Connected to the 'Little Egg' is the 'Flowing Victoria Harbour' large art installation, made of 30,000 colorful bottle caps, resembling floating waves, extremely distinctive. At the very end of the breakwater, you can enjoy a 360-degree unobstructed sea view, and the Victoria Harbour scenery seen from the eastern side of Hong Kong Island offers a different perspective!

Additionally, the park has a very popular photo spot called 'Light of Hong Kong', an art installation featuring the English letters of 'Victoria Harbour', using lights and colors to showcase the vibrancy of the harbor. Its hollow design allows you to step inside the artwork to take photos.

The third stop of the Hong Kong Island seaside tour: Kennedy Town Station

From Kennedy Town Station on the Island Line, Exit A, it's about a 6-minute walk to the Kennedy Town Promenade. Besides being an excellent leisure waterfront space, you can enjoy a 180-degree view of West Kowloon, the Stonecutters Bridge, and the Tsing Ma Bridge, as well as a stunning sunset.

Near the promenade, there is %Arabica from Kyoto. The coffee shop features a minimalist Japanese style with a white facade and floor-to-ceiling windows, creating a beautiful scene by the seaside.

The upper floor is a great place to relax, with a row of seats facing the sea, allowing you to sip coffee while enjoying unbeatable ocean views—perfect for some downtime. By the way, I highly recommend the iced latte they serve; the taste is absolutely superb.

Oh, and if you're a photography enthusiast, don't miss the Western District Public Cargo Working Area (Sai Wan Swimming Shed). It's about a 16-minute walk from the coffee shop or from Kennedy Town Station Exit C. Walking down the stairs at the entrance, you'll first hear the sound of waves crashing on rocks; a few more steps and you'll see a small wooden bridge. At the end of the bridge, you can enter the water to swim—that's the swimming shed.

This swimming shed is the last remaining one in Hong Kong, but more people visit specifically for photos, especially at sunset when the scenery is breathtaking. The small wooden bridge extends straight from the shore into the sea, like a secret path leading straight to the ocean, letting you immerse yourself in the sea's embrace. During sunset, strolling lightly on the wooden boardwalk can produce stunning photos in minutes.

And how could a trip to Hong Kong miss the dazzling night views? On the way back, head to the Central Harbourfront Promenade!

From Central Station Exit A, it's about a 10-minute walk to the Central section of the Central and Western District Promenade. At the Hong Kong Observation Wheel on the Central Harbourfront, you can ride the wheel and enjoy the brilliant Victoria Harbour nightscape from a height of 60 meters, taking in the world-renowned skyline.

The Central Harbourfront Promenade connects to Tamar Park. Walking slowly from Central Pier, the buildings across Victoria Harbour glitter with colorful lights, resplendent and charming. If you catch the 'Symphony of Lights' laser show that starts at 8 PM every night, the scene before you transforms into a stage, with lights shimmering in time with the music—truly spectacular.

As the saying goes, 'All lines pass through Admiralty.' The Central Harbourfront Promenade connects to Tamar Park, and from Tamar Park it's just a few minutes' walk to Admiralty Station. You can reach this super interchange station via Exit E of Admiralty Station and take the East Rail Line back—very convenient.

Whether in the morning or at night, Hong Kong Island fully showcases its charm. The extension of the East Rail Line across the harbor has made transportation on the island incredibly convenient, allowing you to travel anytime and experience the allure of Hong Kong Island.

In fact, there are many more places worth visiting in Hong Kong. Now, with the East Rail Line offering direct connectivity, shopping and tourism can be done seamlessly in one go, making traveling stress-free—it truly enhances the happiness of travel. There's also the newly launched mini-program 'Hong Kong Go with MTR', which allows you to check routes, first and last train times before your trip, helping you plan your itinerary well and not waste a single minute of your journey.

Alright, actions speak louder than words. Are you ready to set off on the East Rail Line?
