Accor, together with Ennismore, unveils the first lifestyle hotel of the Mondrian brand in Greater China.

To celebrate the grand opening, Mondrian Hong Kong launches the 'FIRST LOOK' cultural immersive stay experience.

The opening event partners with non-profit organizations to invite single-parent families from Hong Kong to stay, giving back to the community with a mini-vacation.

HONG KONG, December 18, 2023 — Mondrian Hong Kong, characterized by its disruptive living experiences, officially opens today, presenting a new hospitality philosophy to travelers and bringing a multicultural new landscape to luxury lifestyle hotels.

Located in the core of the bustling and vibrant Tsim Sha Tsui district, Mondrian Hong Kong offers 324 rooms, including 12 spacious sea-view suites. The hotel boasts a magnificent view of Victoria Harbour and its iconic bustling nightscape, and is inspired by Hong Kong's colorful historical elements — the rooms feature hand-painted custom minibars and several carefully selected pieces by local artists, creating a unique artistic atmosphere. Beyond the rooms, the distinctive design of Mondrian Hong Kong extends throughout different corners of the building. Designer Karin Krautgartner, with her imaginative flair, along with avant-garde works and installations by local and international artists, fully highlights the hotel's appeal as a new landmark building.

In terms of dining and entertainment, the upscale steakhouse Carna by Dario Cecchini is a highlight of Mondrian Hong Kong, helmed by legendary Italian meat master Dario Cecchini and designed by internationally renowned interior designer Joyce Wang. It champions a 'nose-to-tail' cooking philosophy and adheres to a zero-waste sustainable dining concept. The innovative cocktail bar and restaurant Avoca serves multiple functions — offering exquisite cuisine during the day and DJ music or a venue for city events at night, its comfortable and relaxing atmosphere adding new energy to the vibrant nightlife of Kowloon. The open space on the 40th floor rooftop is spacious and will host various art events and creative performances, gathering the community while offering visitors rich cultural activities.
