Prince Edward, not far from Mong Kok, has many flower and bird markets that only locals visit, and it also hides many delicious foods!

The first shop is located at Prince Edward Station Exit D. It's 'Wah Kee Chiu Chow' braised cart noodle, which is even recommended by Man姐 Charmaine Sheh from the recent hit drama 'The Queen of News'. If you prefer lighter flavors, try the braised beef offal noodles; the beef brisket is stewed until tender and flavorful. For a heavier taste, go for the medium spicy soup base. You can choose from various toppings and meats: pork skin, beef tendon, burdock root, giant fish balls, pork intestines, and more. You can also choose the noodle type and flavor.

At Prince Edward Station Exit C2, the pork chop at 'Yuen Long Cafe' is their signature! The pork chop rice is very generous, it's recommended for two people to share one. The thick pork chop is tender and smooth, with a crispy skin and a hint of garlic flavor in every bite! The thick-cut pork chop bun is twice the size of a regular hamburger. The bun is toasted crispy, and the pork chop inside is juicy and tender—a real treat!~

Passing by 'bakehouse'—a rare moment with no queue—I quickly bought half a dozen to try. The egg tarts are really good: crispy, fragrant crust and soft, glutinous filling. Whether freshly baked or after cooling for a while, the taste and texture don't degrade much—truly amazing! The strawberry Danish looks great, with a crispy, flaky crust and some jam inside. But be careful when eating, as the strawberries tend to fall off. There's also a beef pie with large chunks of beef; the beef gets more flavorful as you chew, but maybe because it was cold, it was just okay.

In Mong Kok, 'Chi Daai Wong' is known as the affordable mochi, so there are always long queues! But considering Hong Kong prices, it's indeed quite cheap: purple sweet potato and taro mochi are HK$10 each, mango mochi HK$12, durian mochi HK$15, etc. The taro mochi has a soft glutinous rice skin with taro filling inside, not too sweet. The mango mochi is their signature—almost everyone buys a box. The mango is fresh and the fruit pieces are large~

For Hong Kong souvenirs, I still recommend my gem of a local brand, 'Hong Kong Wong Yue'. This year, I bought their New Year products again for family and friends. Wong Yue is endorsed by Hong Kong superstar Louis Koo! Their butterfly pastries and egg rolls are addictive—you'll want more after tasting. The original flavor and Earl Grey tea butterfly pastries are excellent, with both the buttery fragrance and the tea aroma. Every time I come to Hong Kong to buy gifts, they are my first choice. If you like butterfly pastries, egg rolls, or cookies, go for them!

A must-visit for Hong Kong tourism: the sea-view mall 'Harbour City', with the most complete collection of international luxury brands, a one-stop shopping space integrating shopping, dining, and cultural entertainment. Mr Simms, a British-style candy shop, offers various chocolates, marshmallows, and lollipops; Dr Martens' classic boots; Korean-style SNIDEL clothing or bags; and international luxury brands like LV's largest flagship store in Asia, Chanel flagship, COACH flagship, Hermes, Prada, Gucci, Armani, Fendi, etc.

The affordable imported snack store 'Tai Sang Supermarket' not only has imported snacks but also daily necessities, imported seasonings, personal care products, and more—a wide variety. Before Chinese New Year, Tai Sang Supermarket is packed with people; many locals come to buy New Year products or ingredients. If you spend a certain amount, you can get a membership, and the membership price is more cost-effective!
