First Trip to Australia: Melbourne, Sydney, Cairns, Brisbane
On a summer morning, a little after six, walking on the streets of Guangzhou, with sparse pedestrians and cars, the morning air slightly cool, suddenly I thought of Brisbane in the Southern Hemisphere, a city somewhat similar to Guangzhou, and recalled the journey that was almost a year ago. So I decided not to delay any longer and properly organize this memory.
On another late spring morning, I opened my long-unvisited personal homepage and couldn't help but chuckle at the above lines, because another nine years had passed......
Following the principle of not retracing steps, I chose to enter via Melbourne and exit via Brisbane. So my first encounter with Australia was this globally livable city.
Accommodation: Radisson on Flagstaff Gardens Melbourne
Checked Ctrip order, 3 nights for 3627. This was my first long-haul independent trip, and with my daughter, safety and comfort were paramount; I didn't dare skimp too much, so I chose a standard hotel. First experience with Radisson was positive; outside the hotel was an unbeatable park view, and although the decor was simple, it was extremely clean.
Street scenes: a few photos above, buildings full of history, retro trams, Melbourne is like a huge architectural museum.
