Speaking of attractions in New York that combine architectural features and artistic connotation, the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum is definitely one of them. With its simple white spiral exterior, utterly different from any surrounding building, yet inside it houses the world's finest collections of Impressionist, Post-Impressionist, Early Modern, and Contemporary art. Every corner of this museum is breathtaking!

Located on Fifth Avenue between 88th and 89th Streets, the Guggenheim Museum was completed in 1959. It is an internationally renowned art museum, one of the most important New York City landmarks of the 20th century, and the headquarters of the Guggenheim museum network. It was designated a U.S. National Historic Landmark in 2008 and inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2019.

Designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, one of the four great masters of modern architecture and a founder of modern architecture, beginning in 1947, the museum's design involved over 700 sketches. Upon completion, it was considered a masterpiece of modern architectural art. It has a clean, smooth exterior, and the entire building spirals upward and outward. Inside, tiered balconies rise slowly at a 3% gradient, forming an open central space illuminated by a glass dome providing ample natural light.

Exhibits are hung along a 430-meter ramp. Visitors take the elevator to the top floor, then walk down the ramp, viewing the artworks as they go, easily seeing all exhibits without missing any.

As a museum that holds one of the finest collections of modern art in the world, it preserves most of Solomon R. Guggenheim's modern art collection, covering modern and contemporary artworks from the mid-19th century to the present. It is a must-visit New York attraction for art lovers.
