At 150 feet tall (equivalent to a 15-story building) and weighing 200 tons, the Wonder Wheel has 24 observation cars, 16 of which are sliding and 8 are stationary. As the wheel moves, the cars swing left and right along the upper track, adding to the thrill of the experience.

Here's a fun fact about the Wonder Wheel: Denos D. Vourderis once made a promise to his love, Lula da Silva: if she would marry him, he would buy her the Wonder Wheel. She just smiled and agreed. But Deno was not a millionaire; he had worked on Coney Island for years. When the original owner of the wheel decided to retire, he chose Deno to take over. In the end, Deno truly fulfilled his promise.
