If you don't know where to start your round-the-world trip,

I suggest you start with the United States, and preferably with New York! Start with Manhattan, start with the Empire State Building —

New York, in my heart, is only Manhattan; anywhere beyond that isn't New York. The Hudson River that encircles Manhattan makes New York's Manhattan even more New York.

If you ever have the chance to come to New York, that is the pinnacle of life. Whether at the top of the Empire State Building or the top of Rockefeller Center, both are the summit of the world.

My feeling about New York is: if you're born human and never make a trip to New York, that regret is irreparable.
