World Oceans Day | Strolling at SEA LIFE Aquarium New Jersey, Recording a Fun New York Trip
To protect the marine environment, the United Nations has designated June 8 of each year as 'World Oceans Day'. This year marks the fourteenth World Oceans Day, with the theme 'Protect the marine ecosystem, harmony between humans and nature.' Part of the world's largest aquarium family SEA LIFE, SEA LIFE Aquarium New Jersey is the first SEA LIFE aquarium in the northeastern United States and has been popular with visitors since its opening in May 2021. Ocean Tunnel
As you walk through the underwater tunnel of this undersea city, you can see panoramic views of the ocean world, as well as ocean versions of Manhattan landmarks, such as the Empire Shark Building, the Babbling Brooklyn Bridge, and the FishLife Building. Schools of tropical fish, sharks, and stingrays swim among them, making this underwater world feel both real and surreal.
Tiny Giants Touchpool
Feel the characteristics of amazing marine life through touch! Sea anemones look like beautiful flowers, but they are actually quick-reacting predatory animals. Flat starfish have charming appearances and use tube feet under their arms to capture prey and cling to rocks—are they soft or hard to the touch? In this fun interactive area, you can rediscover these marine creatures through touch and learn about their habits from marine experts.

Discover the most fascinating and fearsome creatures of the rainforest! The design of this exhibit is inspired by New York streets, like a city made of tropical jungle—you might even find a group of notorious red-bellied piranhas in some corner.
