Barely Missing the Statue of Liberty - Because I Got on the Wrong Ferry

Originally planned to take a ferry from Battery Park to Liberty Island, but somehow followed the crowd onto the free ferry to Staten Island. Realizing the mistake, as soon as it docked I turned back, but time had passed and I had other plans afterwards, so I had to miss the Statue of Liberty by a hair.
