In late December 2024 to early January 2025, I joined a 21-day Caribbean cruise on the Norwegian "Lingtu" organized by a travel agency in Shanghai, covering 10 countries. On December 30, 2025, I departed from Dalian Zhoushuizi Airport to go to Shanghai ahead of time.

On December 31, our team of 22 people gathered at Shanghai Pudong Airport. The person in the middle is our tour leader for this trip.

On this trip, we will visit the United States, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, British Virgin Islands, Curaçao, Aruba, Jamaica, Cayman Islands, and Mexico — 10 countries in total. The photo is a commemorative shot taken before departure.

At 14:00 on December 31, 2025, we took Korean Air flight KE898 at Shanghai Pudong International Airport, transiting via Incheon, South Korea, en route to New York, USA. Photo taken at Incheon Airport, South Korea.

Incheon International Airport is an international passenger and cargo aviation hub, located on Yeongjong Island in western Incheon, South Korea. It is one of the busiest international airports in Asia, with excellent natural conditions and a beautiful, comfortable environment, earning it the reputation of a "green airport." At 17:05 local time, we boarded Korean Air flight KE085 to New York, USA. The photo shows the in-flight meal on KE085, which is quite suitable for Chinese tastes.

At 19:30 local time, we arrived at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York, USA. JFK Airport is the main international airport of New York City, the largest city in the United States. It is a major global aviation hub, one of the busiest and largest airports in the world. Photo taken at JFK Airport.

New York City is the largest city in the United States, the country's biggest financial, commercial, trade, cultural, and media center, located in southeastern New York State. The photo shows a traffic jam on a New York highway even on New Year's Eve.

This cross-bay tunnel from New York to New Jersey that we passed through was built over 100 years ago, originally used for horse-drawn carriages, and is still in use today.

That evening, we checked into an international chain hotel in New Jersey to rest. The hotel was filled with a strong New Year atmosphere.
