From late December 2024 to mid-January 2025, I participated in a 21-day Caribbean 10-country cruise organized by a Shanghai travel agency on the Norwegian Prima. On the third day after arriving in New York, we boarded the luxury cruise ship Norwegian (NCL) Prima. The photo shows the majestic presence of the Prima.

Launched in the summer of 2022, the Prima is approximately 294 meters long, with a gross tonnage of 142,000 tons, and can carry 3,200 passengers. It is a brand-new five-star cruise ship.

The Prima boasts the most outdoor deck space among new cruise ships. Its pool deck is larger than that of any other ship in the Norwegian fleet, and it also features multiple infinity pools and spacious outdoor promenades, allowing guests to fully enjoy the sea views, feel the ocean breeze, and experience various upgraded amenities.

The 360-degree ocean promenade on Deck 8 encircles the entire ship, covering 44,000 square feet (approximately 4,088 square meters). Here, the scenery changes with every step, immersing you in the world of the ocean and discovering experiences that exceed expectations at every turn. The photo is a souvenir shot I took on Deck 8.

On the Prima, there are large and small pools as well as infinity pools facing both sides of the ship. Whether sitting or soaking, you can take in the vast ocean views.

The Prima features 11 meticulously designed restaurants offering tempting cuisines from around the world.

At the Hudson Main Restaurant, surrounded by 270-degree floor-to-ceiling windows, you can enjoy delicious food without missing the breathtaking ocean scenery.

Walking on the glass bridge, you can take a thrilling 'suspended' photo.

Stroll through the waterfront sculpture garden plaza and explore interactive artworks that incorporate stunning effects and technology.

If you're looking for excitement, the heart-racing vertical slides, three-level go-kart track, and the brand-new water park are must-visit spots not to be missed.
