A Journey to Discover Heyuan Dinosaurs
Itinerary: Heyuan Dinosaur Museum – Hakka World International Tourism Resort
Extinct 65 million years ago, almost every child knows about 'dinosaurs'! Perhaps every child has a dinosaur dream. Taking advantage of the holiday, I brought my child to Heyuan City, the 'Hometown of Chinese Dinosaurs', to fulfill his dinosaur dream.
Heyuan is one of the few places in the world that possesses a 'trinity' of dinosaur footprint fossils, dinosaur egg fossils, and dinosaur bone fossils. The Heyuan Dinosaur Museum is the main window for promoting and displaying Heyuan's dinosaur culture. Our first stop was the Heyuan Dinosaur Museum. Upon entering, several huge dinosaur skeleton fossils caught our eyes, along with over 17,000 dinosaur egg fossils, individual dinosaur bone fossils, and many dinosaur footprint fossil models. By viewing each exhibit, we filled many gaps in our knowledge about dinosaurs. Particularly noteworthy were the well-produced dinosaur science animations that showed the entire process from courtship, egg-laying, to hatching. The cute and interesting plot made dinosaur culture more accessible. For anyone fascinated by dinosaurs, this place is absolutely worth a visit!
Our second stop was the Hakka World International Tourism Resort. Dinosaur elements can be seen everywhere in the scenic area, and the child was extremely delighted! The realistic Dinosaur Adventure Park, the fun Dinosaur Happy World, and the instant-winter Dinosaur Ice and Snow Park each had their own charms.
As the sun set in the west and night fell, it signaled that it was time for hot springs. With various themed hot spring experiences such as Chinese, Japanese, and European styles, soaking in the hot spring pools washed away the fatigue of the day's activities, bringing great relaxation to the body. Returning to the hotel, we fell into a deep sleep for a good night's rest! The morning sun awakened us. This day-and-night Heyuan dinosaur trip took us on an exciting and wonderful journey to explore the prehistoric era together!
