Driving the XPeng P7 to a Fairy Tale Kingdom – Experience Exotic Charm Without Leaving the Country

Having visited many places and seen countless beautiful sights,

my favorite way to travel has always been self-driving – taking the wheel myself,

stopping and playing along the way, no constraints. Better to choose a day than bump into one.

This time, I was invited to the Bavaria Manor in Heyuan to attend

the "2020 Marriott Group South China Media Appreciation Event."

Why not take a spontaneous free trip with my best friend,

and set off for Heyuan in my bestie's XPeng P7!

Experience the Smart Electric Vehicle XPeng P7

This time, my best friend's XPeng P7, in collaboration with Marriott International South China Hotels, partnered with the "new force in car manufacturing" XPeng smart electric vehicles for low-carbon travel. At the Four Points by Sheraton Heyuan Bavaria Manor, they jointly presented the "XPeng & Marriott Friends, Let's Go" rejuvenation-themed appreciation event, inviting us to personally experience the XPeng new energy smart car, as well as Heyuan's popular seasonal hot spring experiences and special activities.

Even before test-driving, just looking at the exterior, it was totally my aesthetic: premium gray color scheme, streamlined coupe – super cool! Frameless doors, hidden door handles that automatically pop out when you start, plus a panoramic sunroof.

Pure Electric, Super Long Range

The XPeng P7 is fully electric with an ultra-long range of 700km. During the test drive, I could feel it accelerate quickly, reaching 120 km/h in just a few seconds – so exhilarating! Sitting in the car felt very quiet and stable, and the interior smell was much milder than in a gasoline car. As a passenger, I found it very comfortable!

The car's screen display is super futuristic, with voice control for navigation, air conditioning, and multiple ambient lighting modes. It also has an automatic parking feature, which is a blessing for women – you can see 360 degrees around.

Another highlight of the XPeng P7 is its dual storage space: a front trunk, and even the rear trunk is larger than standard! Overall, the XPeng P7 offers great practicality and convenience. With such a cost-effective car, I've been tempted to get one too!

Marriott Group South China Media Appreciation Event

Marriott International has always upheld the values of "people first, customer foremost" in treating every guest. This time, we were honored to be invited by Marriott International to attend this appreciation week. The purpose was to thank new and old customers for their support and recognition of Marriott International over the past year. Nearly 60 hotels in South China held a week-long appreciation event with different thematic designs.

On November 23, Guangzhou Marriott International officially hosted the "2020 Marriott Group South China Media Appreciation Event" at Heyuan Bavaria Manor.

The hotel also presented carefully paired dietary menus, balancing nourishment and health, showcasing the farm-to-table dining philosophy while allowing guests to taste local seasonal ingredients cooked into authentic flavors.

Arriving at Heyuan Bavaria, I realized it's like a fairy tale kingdom – colorful windmills make you feel like you're in a foreign land. Castles and Hakka enclosed houses reflect on the shimmering river, like a splendid fairy tale world. It's truly beautiful!

Heyuan Bavaria is not far from downtown Guangzhou! It takes only two hours to get there. If you're looking for a short self-driving trip, don't miss this treasure trove full of exotic charm. Singing along the way, driving the XPeng P7 and enjoying the scenery, the stability and comfort of the XPeng P7 made me forget the bumps of the journey.

Upon arriving at the Four Points by Sheraton Heyuan Bavaria Manor, I felt the scenery was picturesque. It perfectly combines European exotic charm and Hakka cultural charm, offering a one-stop experience: sightseeing, entertainment, dining, recreation, performances, and a farm.

First, we took a cool photo with the XPeng P7 at the entrance, then checked in.

The room we stayed in had its own private hot spring. In this cold winter, hot springs are the best way to keep warm! Pulling back the curtains, we could see the lake and mountains, breathe fresh air – it was so relaxing, truly a paradise!

The room lighting was soft, giving a warm feeling;

the design was simple yet elegant. Each room has a private soaking pool, offering great privacy!

There was a Bali-style floating afternoon tea here, perfect for a delightful afternoon. Exquisite desserts paired with beautiful scenery made us want to take beautiful selfies non-stop!

Visiting Heyuan Bavaria Manor, you must check out the Bavaria Instagram-famous bridge. It is said this bridge is the route that the small train takes when carrying passengers.

To go, you need to arrive after the small train has finished operation. We drove the XPeng P7 to take photos, with the car and us having the bridge all to ourselves.

After touring, the dinner was held inside the hotel, lively and joyful, with delicious food and lucky draws, and even beautiful fireworks!

The next day, we went to the manor to pick organic vegetables,

played golf, and did other fun activities.

This allowed us to experience Heyuan's seasonal hot springs and special activities, while also enjoying healthy, organic food! It was truly an unforgettable and meaningful trip! Want to experience authentic European charm but don't want to go too far? Actually, without leaving the country, there's a place near Guangzhou where you can pretend to be on vacation in Europe! Because the sky there is especially blue, it's been called "Bavaria Blue" over time – a place you'll want to visit again.

European vacation! The Hakka enclosed house temple is a new Buddhist cultural site integrating Buddhist culture, Hakka Tulou architectural culture, meditation culture, and wellness culture. If you have time, go and take a walk!

The world's first outdoor gilded bronze Bodhi tree,

13.7 meters tall, with 4,800 golden leaves,

made from 18 tons of imitation bronze,

inspired by the story of Shakyamuni attaining enlightenment under the Bodhi tree.

For travel enthusiasts, the most beautiful scenery isn't the destination, but the scenery along the way. Choosing self-driving gives us a sense of free joy, unrestricted, following our hearts. Drive the XPeng P7, step on the gas, and take a short self-driving trip to Heyuan Bavaria Manor – experience authentic German town charm without leaving the country.
