Chunmuyuan Town | A Better Family-Friendly Getaway Near Guangzhou
We heard that Chunmuyuan Town has launched a Cherry Tomato Festival. As we love to join in the fun, we certainly couldn't miss it. Taking advantage of the Saturday break, we quickly brought our child there. I have to say, this event was really fun. Not only were there tomato dopamine-themed photo spots, but also a tomato market, a tomato magic show, a concert, and a tomato fun challenge. The kids absolutely loved it.
Apart from the Cherry Tomato Festival, there are also many fun activities in the town, such as:
➡️ Dinosaur Bone Park (Longgu Paradise): A large outdoor park themed around dinosaur culture, featuring various climbing frames, slides, trampolines, and other play equipment, allowing children to let loose and release their energy.
➡️ Infinity Pool: Adjacent to the outdoor hot springs, with a great environment. You can swim while overlooking the beautiful scenery of the entire Chunmuyuan Town.
➡️ Dinosaur Island Water Park: A newly opened water park that includes attractions such as cave slides, waterfall surfing, stalactite forests, and canyon adventures. Kids love it. Our child spent half a day there and was reluctant to leave.
➡️ Palm Spring: The warm and comfortable palm garden hot spring pools make you feel as if you are in a tropical rainforest.
➡️ Beach: The sand here is very white and fine, giving a feeling of being in a mini Sanya. Great for photos, and kids can freely dig in the sand.
❤️ Accommodation – Blue Grape Hotel
This hotel is located inside the resort. It primarily offers various duplex suites; you can choose according to your family's needs. I was particularly satisfied with their service. Before check-in, we joined the hotel's service group chat. If we had any needs, we just mentioned them in the group and they would quickly come to help.
Moreover, staying here gives you free access to Dinosaur Bone Park, indoor golf, and Palm Spring, making it very suitable for families with children.
✅ Hotomato Hotpot Restaurant: You can enjoy hotpot outdoors by Shizai Lake. The atmosphere is nice and the ingredients are fresh.
✅ Owl Bar: Their barbecue, special drinks, and cocktails all taste great. It's recommended to dine outdoors, as the scenery is nice and you can also watch performances.
❤️ Overall Environment of the Town
The overall atmosphere of the town resort is very good, full of aesthetic character everywhere. Here I saw the work left by teacher Tadao Ando – the Green Apple installation, which is particularly suitable for taking photos.
In addition, we also encountered the unveiling ceremony of the 'Prelude' of the Poetry Hall, which is under construction in the town. Poetry Hall is a work by the master architect Tadao Ando, a hall full of aesthetics. Although it is currently only a sample display of exposed concrete work, it already has a strong artistic atmosphere. It makes me look forward to what the fully completed Poetry Hall will look like. I sincerely hope that next time I come, it will be officially completed.
