Starting from Shenzhen｜Third Visit! This Time I Truly Got Chunmuyuan
My kid has been talking about Chunmuyuan Town, so we came again! It truly is a paradise for taking kids out—comfortable and relaxing. Any single activity can keep the kids entertained for half a day. It's absolutely perfect for a family vacation with kids.
1. About Transportation 🚗
1️⃣ High-speed rail: Shenzhen North – Heyuan East Station, 1 hour, 93 RMB (There is a shuttle bus from Heyuan East to Chunmuyuan, 30 RMB per person). Taxi: 24 km.
2️⃣ Self-driving: Simply navigate to “Chunmuyuan Town,” about 2 hours drive. Driving is very easy.
2. About Accommodation 🏨
This time we traveled with multiple families and still chose the Blue Grape Hotel. When going out with kids, I care most about convenience and basic facilities. What Blue Grape impresses me most is exactly these two points. It not only comes with appliances like a microwave, refrigerator, and washing machine, but also offers exceptionally considerate butler service. Whether you need extra blankets, safety fences, or anything else, the butlers are always responsive. For parent-child trips that can get chaotic at any moment, this is truly thoughtful.
3. About Activities 🌊
🦕 Dinosaur Island Water Park: This newly opened water park has surpassed Dinosaur Bone Park to become the kids' number one choice. Summer is all about playing in water! The park features waterfall surfing, cave slides, and various zones with different ways to play—kids can enjoy it all day.
🎠 Dinosaur Bone Park: A park you want to visit again and again. This time we caught the loach-catching activity (sessions at 4 PM and 5 PM), and both adults and kids went wild! After catching loaches, we played on the non-motorized facilities, another afternoon of endless energy drain.
⛰️ Valley Park: Includes a petting zoo for feeding animals, equestrian club for horse riding, archery, mountain off-road, etc. You can reach it by the resort's shuttle bus (but since it's a new park, the shuttle frequency is limited—better ask in advance).
🍅 Cherry Tomato Festival Theme Event: The town plans different themed events according to the season. The recent Cherry Tomato Festival featured tomato mascot interactions, children's situational plays, magic shows, and also timely Olympic-themed parent-child sports competitions. Once again, I deeply envy the homeowners here—mountains, water, ecology, and entertainment—it's my ideal community! ♨️ Hot springs & Infinity pool & Lakeside beach.

The sparkling water, abundant activities, melodious music on the lawn—the artistic vibe is off the charts. I call it the most mom-friendly, most relaxing, and the chilliest kid-friendly resort near Shenzhen.
