Guangdong Family Trip | A Family Resort Worth Visiting Multiple Times with Kids
Last weekend, I came here with my family for a vacation. Located in Heyuan, on the outskirts of Guangdong, it takes about 2.5 hours from Guangzhou. Here, there is a non-motorized park, water park, sandy beach, hot springs, and at night there are bonfire parties and fireworks displays... The small town offers one-stop dining, entertainment, and shopping. The apartment-style rooms can accommodate several families. Every summer, we come here with friends and family. Every time we come, it feels as comfortable as coming home. It's really suitable for family trips or large groups of friends with kids.

There are 4 hotel options in the town:
✔️ Blue Grape Hotel: Suitable for large families, apartment-style hotel with small kitchen, washing machine, etc. A small duplex with 3 bedrooms can accommodate 6 adults and 2 children, great value.
✔️ Palm Tree Hotel: Superb view, balcony overlooking the lake, suitable for a family of three or couples.
✔️ Heyue Zhuang Hot Spring Hotel: Chinese-style hot spring villa, rooms with private hot spring pool, suitable for couples.
✔️ Homestay: Two or three bedrooms, different themes, can be chosen based on travel needs and group size, suitable for family trips.
We stayed at the Blue Grape Hotel. The room was clean and bright, facilities new and complete, open kitchen with refrigerator, bathroom with washing machine, and a small balcony on the first floor for drying clothes.
😄 What to do👇🏻
✔️ The hotel has indoor and outdoor children's playgrounds, gym, outdoor slide. Additional paid amenities include chess/card room, KTV, billiards, etc.
✔️ Dinosaur Water Park: With the hot weather in Guangdong, we love staying in the water. Kids don't want to leave!
✔️ Infinity pool and hot springs: Soaking in hot springs or swimming while enjoying the view is so pleasant!
✔️ Life Experience Center: Different themed parent-child activities, huge lawn, valley camping, music festival, etc. On weekend nights, there are bonfire parties and fireworks!
✔️ Longgu Park: Has large slides, climbing facilities. You can also camp and picnic in the park. The air is good, nice for a stroll.
✔️ Lakeside sightseeing boats, kayaking.
✔️ Also golf, beach volleyball, petting zoo, horseback riding, and other activities...
🍴 What to eat👇🏻
There is a commercial street in the town, a 2-minute walk from the hotel, with convenience stores and various restaurants.
✔️ First Canteen: Hotel breakfast here, also simple meals for three meals a day. Around 30-40 RMB per person.
✔️ Western Restaurant: Light fresh style. Around 130 RMB per person.
✔️ Midnight Diner and Owl Bar: Midnight Diner serves dumplings and noodles. For nightlife, you can go to Owl Bar with friends for barbecue and drinks.
✔️ If you don't want to eat in town, you can also go out! A 10-15 minute drive has many farmhouses, mainly serving Hakka cuisine, not expensive, large portions, great value!
