The Coolest Summer Awaits at Xi'an Guangcheng Hotel
As the summer heat climbs higher, taking a dip in the pool to soak up endless coolness has become the only way my friends and I want to live through midsummer. It helps sculpt a great body and lets you dodge the scorching heat – who doesn’t love swimming? Xi'an Guangcheng Hotel is my and my friends’ go-to summer swimming spot. The temperature-controlled pool has crystal-clear water, the buffet is varied and delicious, and their swimming packages, especially, are brilliantly priced and we absolutely adore them! Even better, the hotel frequently hosts fun events, filling the air with lively, cheerful vibes that often leave us with thrilling, joyful memories. And just as expected, the June 26 pool party returned this year, totally blowing our minds!
Red-Hot Bikini Fashion Show
The high-energy party took place at the hotel’s pool. After signing in and picking up an exquisite welcome gift, we stepped onto the rooftop garden. Sunlight drenched the plants, and lush greenery stretched out as far as the eye could see. Beyond the garden lay the pool area under a silvery dome, its water glistening. People gathered, laughing and splashing, waiting for the party to kick off!
“Devilishly perfect figures, oozing charm, radiates an irresistible allure,” the host announced as the sexy bikini beauties began to parade. Wearing an array of bikinis, they overflowed with youthful sensuality, strutting confidently along the poolside, looking sun-kissed and captivating! Wolf whistles erupted from the crowd now and then; everyone was swept up in the excitement, and the atmosphere ignited in an instant. Besides the sizzling bikini show, thoughtful tea-break treats were laid out – delicious fruits and colorful pastries were a dazzling sight, their sweet aromas filling the air. Summer joy is so simple and wonderful!
Lucky Draw Series of Prizes
We were having a great time chatting when we suddenly heard the host announcing a lucky draw! The pool party featured three rounds of draws: the third prize was a Jianzhan tea bowl worth 580 yuan, the second a water purifier worth 1,680 yuan, and the first an annual swimming pass for the hotel worth 4,880 yuan. Would Lady Luck smile on us? Everyone was eager. While we anticipated the prizes, fantastic performances also took turns on stage.
A mesmerizing mermaid show made us feel as if we were under the sea, watching an unparalleled fairy-tale performance. As soon as the mermaids retreated, a celebrated musician from the Shaanxi Provincial Orchestra presented a magnificent musical feast – melodies soft and melodious, the sound of strings enchanting, the entire venue soaked in a blissful musical atmosphere. After floating in those violin strains for a good while, a traditional Chinese face-changing act followed. The background music boomed with passion, the performer remained calm and poised, and the crowd roared with continuous applause – such an exhilarating spectacle! In the end, my friend won the second prize as a lucky gift. He was over the moon. “Guangcheng is really a lucky place! We’ve got to come here often,” he said joyfully.
Fun Games Spark Summer Joy
Beyond performances and the lucky draw, a series of fun games gave me a whole new appreciation for this place. If someone asked me for a family-friendly destination, Guangcheng would now be my top pick!
Cute plush toys sat on the prize table, and thoughtful free swimming tickets seemed to beckon – all these rewards could be won just by parents and children playing games together! Kids brimmed with confidence, tugging their parents’ hands and itching to play. Parents steeled themselves under their children’s hopeful eyes, determined to win! The first game, “Dragon Gate Diving,” tested the bond between parent and child to the extreme. Little ones darted through the water like nimble fish, swimming quickly toward the swimming rings their parents tossed and sliding through them adorably – their earnest looks were absolutely cute! In the next activity, “Speed Sprint,” dads and moms needed serious stamina. They pushed their children, who sat in swim rings, from one side of the pool to the other with all their might – their fighting spirit infected everyone. Through such playful competitions, kids and parents worked in sync, boosting their mutual understanding and deepening their bond. Even kids who lost didn’t sulk; instead, they comforted their moms and dads, acting like tiny adults in a way that melted everyone’s heart.
Besides parent-child activities, an intense water ball relay let the grown-ups fully experience the joy of playing in the water. Everyone seemed to revert to childhood, having an absolute blast. My friend and I teamed up, using a small ball as a baton to shuttle back and forth across the pool – a competitive thrill and team spirit we hadn’t felt in ages instantly surged up, and we all became carefree boys again!
One evening flew by too fast. As the sun set and the moon gradually appeared in the sky, that joyful day came to an end. Stepping out of the pool and bathed in the pleasant evening breeze, my friend murmured, “What a simple and relaxing experience.” So why wait? Let’s go swimming at Guangcheng again tomorrow! Summer belongs to Guangcheng!
