Attraction Data

Public Tourism Platforms Core Data

Provides: Attraction names, coordinates, categories, ratings, review counts, opening hours, ticket prices

Coverage: Popular attractions across 184 cities worldwide

Usage: Attraction information display + popularity index as a weighted factor in crowd predictions

Weather Data

OpenWeatherMap Core Data

Provides: 5-day weather forecasts (temperature, precipitation probability, conditions)

Coverage: All cities globally

Usage: Weather factor contributes 15% weight to crowd predictions. Severe weather reduces predicted crowding for outdoor attractions

License: OpenWeatherMap API free tier (Attribution 2.0 Creative Commons)

Government Open Data Regional

Provides: Inter-city population flow trend indices

Coverage: Mainland China cities (international cities use default values)

Usage: Migration index contributes 15% weight to crowd predictions, reflecting overall city visitor trends

Holiday Data

Provides: Chinese statutory holidays and adjusted workday determinations

Usage: Date factor calculation (public holidays / adjusted days / weekends / workdays), contributing 40% weight
