If you have been to Liuzhou, you will find that Liuzhou is truly a treasure city. Because it is not a real tourist city, you won't see huge crowds of people; many attractions are relatively niche. In my opinion, such a city is truly suitable for travel and vacation.

If you want to travel to Liuzhou, it's hard to find guides online, but if you join a tour group, you can rest assured that Liuzhou does not have as many messy shopping stores as other tourist cities. Simply put, there are no traps. That is one of my good impressions of Liuzhou. Of course, it's best to travel independently; tour groups are still quite inconvenient.

If you are traveling independently, let me share my personal experience today; it might be a reference. I suggest that a weekend is enough for Liuzhou. Arrive in Liuzhou on Friday evening, stay at the Liuzhou Boyue Garden Hotel on the banks of the hundred-mile Liujiang River. The environment is great, quiet yet conveniently located, with excellent value for money. Looking out from the room, the view is wide, and the night scenery of the hundred-mile Liujiang River is extremely charming.

After checking into the hotel and resting a bit, you can go to the Liujiang Pier for a night cruise on the hundred-mile Liujiang River. This should be the most popular attraction in Liuzhou, and it is a must-visit. The cruise lasts about an hour, of course not covering the entire Liujiang, only the highlights, but that is enough. The scenery along the way is breathtaking; you will see the music fountain, artificial waterfall, Wen Temple, and other beautiful sights.

After the cruise, walk about two kilometers along Dongdi Road to Yaobu Ancient Town. This ancient town is very charming. It is one of Liuzhou's ten key projects and the finishing touch of the hundred-mile Liujiang River, known as Liuzhou's city living room. Stroll around, enjoy the river breeze, taste Liuzhou's local cuisine. This night will definitely be worth your while.

Another advantage of traveling in Liuzhou is that almost all attractions in the city are free. On Saturday, it is recommended to get up early and go to Ma'anshan. The morning air is especially fresh, and there are few people. It is a good place for spirit and body to resonate. This mountain is low in altitude, but from the top you can overlook the entire Liuzhou, great for photos. It perfectly interprets the artistic conception of "thousands of mountains stand around the wilderness, one river embraces the city." If you go at noon or afternoon, the sun will be very hot, and you will lose the greatest significance of Ma'anshan.

In the afternoon, go to Longtan Park. This karst landscape park is known as the "Oriental Wonder." The scenery is first-class, the air is first-class, and the uniqueness of the park is first-class. It is definitely a park that will overturn your perception. In the evening, visit the Wuxing Commercial District. It is the most bustling commercial pedestrian street in Liuzhou, integrating entertainment, shopping, and leisure. You can buy some local specialties.

From the commercial street, return to Liuzhou Boyue Garden Hotel. Since it is a garden-style hotel, you can sit in the garden, have a cup of tea, and contemplate life. The environment is quiet, especially suitable for reflection. On Sunday, you can arrange your itinerary according to your own plans. Because I had to go back in the afternoon due to business, I only arranged one attraction—Liuhou Temple.

Liuhou Temple is a place I always wanted to visit. There is the cenotaph of Liu Zongyuan. The cultural atmosphere is strong. The garden is quiet, the air is fresh, and I saw many elderly and children coming for morning exercise and play. If time permits, I would like to go to Chengyang Eight Villages again. I have been there before; it is somewhat like a paradise. The scenery is truly indescribably beautiful. There, people's hearts become pure and calm. The Chengyang Wind and Rain Bridge there is full of imagination, and the surrounding scenery is especially suitable for sketching. So I suggest that friends who have time can go there.

I think this two-day tour guide is very suitable for friends who want a short trip. If you have any questions about travel details, feel free to leave a message in the background, and I will share and answer them.
