Walking along Zhongmian Road, at the turn of Fengling No.1, I encountered Xihuan Feizai Luosifen (ASEAN Flagship Store).

Every city changes in its own way through food, and different cities have different culinary icons. Guangxi's rice noodles have long been famous worldwide: Nanning's Laoyoufen, Guilin rice noodles, and Liuzhou Luosifen, which has taken the whole country by storm. "Suo fen" (slurping noodles) represents the daily enjoyment of Guangxi people—once you try it, you can't stop.

Due to its rapid development, Nanning has gradually become a city of immigrants, where people from different regions live together in harmony. Local traditional snacks and flavors from all over Guangxi are available here. Rice noodles of various styles have flourished through culinary exchanges, springing up like bamboo shoots after rain, making noodle-loving girls from all over the world envious.

When it comes to Luosifen, everyone knows that the most authentic kind comes from Liuzhou!

According to local legend, there's no one in Liuzhou who doesn't know Xihuan Feizai Luosifen. It's a household name in Liuzhou, accompanying the city's young people as they grew up, while they also witnessed its growth.

Xihuan Feizai Luosifen's Nanning flagship store is located in the Nanning ASEAN Business District, adjacent to Nanning Mixc, Longguang Century, and Shengtiandi, dedicated to serving Nanning citizens—especially office workers—with the most authentic Liuzhou Luosifen.

On August 9, 2020, during the 12th anniversary celebration of Hunan TV's "Day Day Up," the founders of Xihuan Feizai, Zheng Huliu and Chen Muhua, were invited as representatives of Guangxi cuisine to cook Luosifen for stars like Zhao Liying and Wang Yibo, winning many honors. The stars raved about Xihuan Feizai Luosifen.

With the opening of Xihuan Feizai (ASEAN Flagship Store) in Nanning, local food lovers have gained another blessing.

The new shop's decoration style is mainly white, with natural wooden accents in a modern minimalist layout. Through the glass windows, you can see the chefs in the kitchen preparing Luosifen.

Although it had just opened, the shop was already packed with customers who came on reputation. A male customer holding a bowl of Luosifen said to his female companion, "There's not even a seat—crazy popular, right?"

Soon, our Luosifen was ready. The broth was rich and thick; since I had mine without chili, it wasn't as bright red as others' bowls.

Golden crispy fried tofu skin lay atop the slender, white rice noodles, accented by slightly yellow pickled bamboo shoots, black wood ear mushrooms, green pickled beans, and red crunchy peanuts—so vibrant and aromatic that my body trembled and I couldn't help but drool.

Picking up a bundle of noodles and slowly slurping them, the taste was incredibly fresh: the sweetness of the broth, the umami of the snails, and the spiciness of the chili oil gave the smooth noodles a soul. One bite after another, I couldn't stop—a bowl of Luosifen on the table filled the entire warm winter of Nanning with fragrance.
