The Charm of Liuzhou: A Roundup of Delicious Food and Scenic Spots
Liuzhou, a small city I first knew because of its river snail rice noodles (Luosifen). To be honest, this trip to Liuzhou was also for Luosifen. While planning, I found that there were actually many attractions worth visiting.
For this trip, we rented a car from ehi Car Rental. Some time ago, when I bought a used car from them, they gave me several rental coupons. Taking advantage of this trip, I used the 3-day coupon.
There was a lot of delicious food to eat in Liuzhou. I tried Luosifen, xiaolongbao (soup dumplings), and soy milk. Among the Luosifen, I had Qiuju Luosifen, Roast Duck Luosifen, Jiuyi Luosifen, and more. I also had taro and bean sprout cakes, fried skewers, Xishi fruit juice, and all were very good.
We also arranged a travel photoshoot this time. The price was indeed not cheap, 600 RMB. However, it included costume rental, makeup, 70 raw photos, and retouched photos. Later, I asked a friend, who said this price was actually expensive. Oh well.
On the first day, we visited Panlongshan Park, Yaobu Ancient Town, and Wuxing Food Street. The scenery at Wuxing Food Street was particularly nice.
On the second day, we went to the Industrial Museum, Longtan Park, and Ma'anshan Park. We woke up very early in the morning and first went to Qingyun Morning Market. The market had all kinds of snacks. I recommend the tofu pudding. We also had pickled vegetable pie and bean powder cake, which were nothing special. I thought the Industrial Museum was great; you could feel the changes in Liuzhou there.
On the third day, we still visited several attractions, including Liuzhou Museum, Qingyun Morning Market, and Liuhou Park.
Oh, and on that day, we also went to eat Liupinfang Luosifen. The Luosifen was really delicious. Anyway, none of these visits disappointed me.
On the fourth day, we just wandered around the area. Since we were about to leave, the focus turned to a trip of searching for Luosifen shops. I recommend trying the Luosifen shops mentioned above.
