Liuzhou (Zhuang: Liuj couh) is Guangxi’s second-largest city, a regional hub and comprehensive transport center. It’s a historically and culturally rich city with a unique landscape, centered on industry but well-rounded in development. As the largest eco-industrial city in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, it’s celebrated for its clear waters and lush mountains, earning the reputation of 'clean land with picturesque scenery.' Industry accounts for a quarter of Guangxi’s total output, ranking first in the region. Liuzhou’s ethnic charm is truly captivating: the songs of the Zhuang, the dances of the Yao, the festivals of the Miao, and the stilted houses of the Dong are known as the 'four unique ethnic treasures.'
