A Place Where Every Breath Teems with Life
When life is troubled, when ancient starlight travels through cosmic darkness to reach your eyes, when that mysterious, distant loneliness hangs like smoke over a silent soul, when deep into the night you gaze alone at the stars—all you long for is enough time and space to find a place of limpid clarity, to quietly untangle the clutter of the road behind and discover where to go next.
I have imagined countless times a morning waking to a scene of mountains mirrored in a lake, sunlight gently piercing the window veil, the room washed in gold; outside, emerald waters, birds singing over morning dew, mountain winds rustling through green trees. Amid the dappled light and shadow of early dawn, emerging from a distant dream to the soft chorus of nature…
Now, it seems I have found such a realm—a place that embraces the comfort of returning to nature and the joy of lively recreation, dynamic and serene alike. Two or three days here, and the soul finds a different sense of belonging.
Every breath teems with life; every feeling returns to Jinhai Lake.
If asked about the way of life I yearn for most, I would tell you: 85 kilometers from Beijing, 15 kilometers east of Pinggu District, lies a crystal-clear lake spanning 6.5 square kilometers—the largest comprehensive water entertainment destination in the Beijing area. Its name is Jinhai Lake.
Before even approaching Jinhai Lake, the spirit is already delighted by this romantic stretch of water. Beyond the steel and concrete of city life, it offers a resting place for your restless soul. The dust and din of the world dissolve, drifting away on the vast blue expanse.
Jinhai Lake sits at the tri-border area of Beijing, Tianjin, and Tangshan, long known as “Little Beidaihe.” Surrounded on three sides by mountains, peaks rise in layers of green, the scenery exquisite. It has the lake-and-mountain vistas of Qiandao Lake and the jagged rock formations of Tuerling, along with dozens of natural and cultural attractions such as Lake Light Pagoda, Jinhua Princess Tomb, Sea View Pavilion, and Sawtooth Cliff.
With its vast, rippling waters, Jinhai Lake is an ideal venue for water sports and entertainment. Over 30 colorful activities are available: pleasure boats, speedboats, self-drive boats, water flying, water parasailing, pedal boats, rowboats, bumper boats, downhill rides, giant water slides, dragon boat racing, banana boats, rubber dinghies, kayaks, and even beetle car rides.
In your leisure time, gather a few friends and stroll around Jinhai Lake. Immerse yourself in the pure waterscape—the emerald lake, the unhurried drifting—and find, beyond the concrete-and-steel city life, a haven for your wandering soul.
I have always loved a line from Sanmao: “If there is an afterlife, whether or not someone loves me, I will still strive to be a kind, lovely person. Shining under the sun, running in the wind and rain, dreaming my own dreams, walking my own path.” I believe our fortune is that we don’t need to wait for the afterlife to find a place like Jinhai Lake—to shine, to walk our own path, to embrace such scenery!
If there is such a place, where you can live in an innocent, sunlit forest…
In this era of high-speed gears, each of us is like a cog on the edge—meshing with others while walking independently, together pushing the world forward. We doggedly chase so-called happiness: an endless stream of money, luxury cars and houses, a material world without a ceiling. Yet in the process, how many people gradually lose their families, their health, even themselves?
Hetang Ruizhu is only 800 meters from Beijing Jinhai Lake International Resort. To the south, a wetland park unfolds unobstructed; to the north, the layered Yanshan Mountains stretch into the distance. Surrounded by lush bamboo groves and hills with over 95% forest coverage, it is one of those rare lakeside dwellings many dream of.
If there is such a place, when the first ray of morning sunlight slips into the room, everything feels brand new. A soft mattress, a cozy room, the verdant oasis radiating the breath of life; from the bedroom, you can hear cicadas and frogs. Not far away, the beautiful lake sparkles with golden light, exuding an innocent, sunny spirit.
This is Hetang Ruizhu. Here, the 6.5-square-kilometer lake is a gift from nature; here, countless warm moments meet you unawares.
Hetang Ruizhu is only 800 meters from Beijing Jinhai Lake International Resort. To the south, the wetland park panorama; to the north, distant views of the folded Yanshan Mountains. With over 95% forest coverage and bamboo-clad hills, it is a rare lakeside retreat.
Moreover, in both building spacing and landscape design, Hetang Ruizhu displays effortless grace. In crafting the gardens, every detail is meticulously attended to. Drawing on 27 years of villa-building expertise from Longfor, an “One Axis · Six Gardens · Nine Lanes” Eastern garden spectacle has been created, channeling a forested valley into the grounds and borrowing infinity for a bounded garden, shaping the feeling of returning home through natural woodlands from the bustling city.
It is worth mentioning that Hetang Ruizhu is also the first high-quality, low-density residence within the Jinhai Lake World Leisure Town, adjacent to the main venue of the 16th World Leisure Congress on the north side—adding ongoing value to its rare appeal.
Thoreau wrote in Walden, “The most abundant element in a landscape is that touch of innocent sunlight.” I think Hetang Ruizhu is just that—a place that can bring countless rays of sunshine into your life, where you can wander freely beneath the brilliant sun, watch flowers bloom and fade, clouds gather and disperse, follow the voice of your heart and your dreams, and live according to your own will.
Everything changes, but what remains unchanged is the original love for life and the deep attachment to it.
Some say a house is like a partner—it matches your outlook on life and values, reflecting your taste and depth. Choosing a home is also choosing a way of life.
Hetang Ruizhu’s 305 m² lakeside stacked courtyards and 350 m² courtyard homes create the most comfortable spaces for the whole family. With a generous width of about 7.2 meters and three or more bedrooms, they can fully meet the needs of three-generation families across all life stages. The resource configuration is balanced and well-considered, allowing space to inspire more beautiful ways of living.
New Chinese design merges modern and classical elements; convenient, cozy interiors blend precision with art; sensuous and refined facades trace graceful lines. A unique, one-household-one-courtyard arrangement gives each home its own piece of sky and earth, imbuing everyday life with the sense of ritual of a private garden residence.
Large, dual-aspect north-south viewing windows offer unobstructed views, and expanded spaces like terrace gardens bring delightful surprises.
Whether it’s sunrise or sunset, we all need a private world where the family can be together, looking out at the most wonderful scenery, sharing every minute of happiness. In Hetang Ruizhu’s artfully laid-out sunken courtyards and terraces, each room embraces a happy family, and every family brims with boundless hope for the future. Sunshine, leaves, birds, blossoms, a family, a serene and contented heart—here, in this moment, at Hetang Ruizhu.
A life of dazzling lights and flowing wine is one way; a life of leisurely comfort is another. In truth, life is full of surprises everywhere.
Hetang Ruizhu will be complemented by a 150,000-square-meter commercial complex. In moments of leisure, bathed in sunlight, hand in hand with your loved one, your children beside you, time grows ever more gentle and unhurried. The complex will offer dining, shopping, and recreation—every shop window a bright reflection of life’s goodness.
Companionship is the longest confession of love. Perhaps life itself is a form of companionship. At Hetang Ruizhu, you have the best conditions to accompany your children as they grow, your parents as they age, and your partner through the long years.
Time slips by, drop by drop. Everything changes, but what endures is that original love for life and deep attachment to it. Love life, keep each other company, fulfill your dwelling dreams in a comfortable home, and let your family live life as it is meant to be.
