A Little Princess in a Fairytale Castle! No wonder they say your child won't want to leave—I'd play at Baoyan all day myself!
I've long heard that there's a children's park in Beijing full of girlish charm, with spring-summer joy as warm as Sanya, and magical experiences you'll never tire of. Today, follow my guide and have a great time! Honestly, if I say the kid 'rushed' in, it's no exaggeration—I had to lunge after her. The moment I saw the carousel, I was stunned! Oh my! This is the castle of my dreams—who isn't a little princess?!
This large-scale children's entertainment complex, named Baoyan Paradise, truly lives up to its reputation. Pastel-colored castles, a variety of fun venues, and that giant slide complex... Really, every spot is a kid's favorite. Currently, Baoyan Paradise has two themed zones open to the public—'Castle Paradise' and 'Four Seasons Constant-Temperature Water Park,' each with its own unique features. Let me introduce them one by one.
「Attractions」 As I mentioned, there are two themed areas. The Castle Paradise has more and more interesting play facilities. I suggest starting here, also because if you get tired and sweaty from playing, you can head to the Water Park for a shower and relaxation.
The main facilities and attractions inside Castle Paradise include: Ultra Combo Slide Park, Decompression Naughty Fort, Dynamic VR Park, Block World, Sand Pit Experience Zone, Trampoline Zone, Simulation Town (mini kitchen, mini supermarket, mini bank, mini library, mini post office, mini firefighter, mini driver, princess dress-up area), a carousel, a family restaurant, a birthday party room for kids, a nail salon for moms, a baby rest room, and more.
The first and foremost carousel is probably loved by both adults and children. The little carriage inside is the most popular—riding it makes you and your child feel like proud princesses in no time. Nearby, there's a dedicated rental area where you can dress your beloved little princess in a beautiful tulle dress, truly making yourself the princess of this castle.
For boys, imagining themselves as great firefighters is absolutely awesome. In fact, role-playing in this Simulation Town is a favorite activity for kids. Children can experience various scenarios like being a firefighter, chef, princess, etc. There are also reading areas, tent areas, and more that let kids learn knowledge, experience things in a three-dimensional way, and meet interesting new friends to play with. It's really fun.
The coolest thing here is definitely the internet-famous attraction that I call the 'Super Slide.' The blue ocean ball slide at about 45 degrees and the red vertical slide at about 90 degrees are absolutely loved by both adults and children! Whoosh down the 90-degree slide, and you'll reach the ground in 4 seconds. Everywhere are joyful screams and shouts—such a lively scene.
As for the Decompression Naughty Fort, I think it's the most photogenic spot for the kid this time—it's just too easy to snap great pictures. The pink ball pit is dotted with small slides, climbing nets, and magical light-and-shadow balls. Once inside, the kid completely lets loose; everything is soft with no sharp edges, so it's extremely safe.
I could finally take a break here~ Of course, Castle Paradise is huge; there's also a Dynamic VR Park, a sand experience area, painting, and trampolines. Basically, you can find almost any entertainment project a kid likes here. It feels like parents can confidently let their children explore their interests, since every area is colorful and highly safe. So no worries at all.
Four Seasons Constant-Temperature Water Park: For me personally, this water park is an absolute relaxation haven—since my kid is afraid of water, I just treat it as a hot spring spa, haha. The whole water park can actually be seen from the Castle Park side, with a huge water slide that's especially eye-catching. Each water area has its own fun features: high-speed water slides, twisting slides, a parent-child splash zone, a shallow swimming area for toddlers, low-speed slides, constant-temperature spa pools, and steam rooms—you name it, they have it!
Kids who love water can bring all kinds of fun water toys here. The depths of the pools vary, but overall they aren't very deep, so you don't have to worry about safety at all. Just remember to bring swim caps!
「Service and Safety」 Every service point has park staff on duty, and they are genuinely friendly and love children. There are quite a few safety patrollers in the water park area as well. I felt the entire process was very safe; they promptly help you with any problems. When you bring your kids to play, moms can even get a manicure here—this service is truly thoughtful! And there's a special powder room for mothers, which is wonderful.
Castle Paradise has its own family restaurant, which also boasts a separate super-large party room that can be decorated in various ways for birthday parties—really great.
The restaurant offers a wide selection of food: drinks, burgers, pasta, and more. However, it gets quite crowded during weekend lunchtimes, so I suggest avoiding peak hours!
There's a designated area for strollers at the entrance, making it very convenient for families.
All belongings have individual lockers, neatly organized, and are disinfected daily.
「Shopping Experience」 Right at the entrance are all sorts of dazzling goods and clothing, perfect for kids to choose from.
「Tips」: 1. Recommended play route: Castle Paradise → Four Seasons Constant-Temperature Water Park → shower → snack break. 2. Ticket prices 🎫: Peak day one adult + one child single entry 390, weekday 290. 3. The mall has parking spots, free before 19:00 on weekdays / 20:00 on weekends; of course, Baoyan Paradise provides parking vouchers. 4. You must wear a swim cap in the water park! Absolutely! 5. Put thick socks on your child, as you'll need to remove shoes to play in Castle Paradise. 6. For the slide, remember to bring a long-sleeved shirt for your child to avoid unnecessary scrapes; Baoyan Paradise also provides them, super thoughtful. 7. When the carousel first opens, it's very crowded; I suggest waiting until the crowd disperses to avoid queuing. 8. On busy weekends, parents must keep a close eye on their kids; the PA system frequently pages for lost children, haha, it's quite amusing. 9. Luggage storage uses facial recognition, and staff will guide you, so no worries at all. 10. Plan your time wisely, dine off-peak. Or, there are hand markers in the park; if the restaurant is crowded, you can choose eateries downstairs.
