Yunmeng Mountain — Great Wall Viewing Platform
The Yunmeng Mountain Great Wall stretches nearly 100 kilometers. The Yunmeng Mountain Great Wall Viewing Platform offers the best vantage point for the Beishicheng section of the wall. This section was built in the 40th year of the Wanli reign of the Ming Dynasty (1612), with walls reconstructed from local materials on the original foundation of the Northern Qi Tianbao period (555). Gazing out, two sections of the endless wall stand firm, unmoved by countless winters and summers. As the first snow of the year falls, snowflakes drift heavily, blurring your vision and letting you glimpse the rise and fall of two eras.
