2022 Beijing Unmissable Free & Easy Travel Guide and Itinerary for Everyone
I was very satisfied with this Beijing trip. Three days flew by, but I felt I didn't explore enough. In 2022, I will still come to Beijing and stay at Yingxiangcheng Hotel Beijing Tiananmen Wangfujing. This time I will enjoy a deeper exploration. Thanks to Yingxiangcheng, thanks to China!

2. Notes: The capital Beijing has always been a place I yearn for in my heart. This Beijing trip started with awe, exploration, and longing. I arranged my stay at Yingxiangcheng Hotel Beijing Tiananmen Wangfujing, located in Shijia Hutong. The location is very superior, convenient to go anywhere. The hutong is also very quiet. The hotel service staff have excellent service awareness and attitude. I booked their twin room for this trip. The room size is just right, the layout is reasonable, and the decoration has an old Beijing feel, modern yet with cultural flair, very nice, see photos. In these three days, I roughly planned to visit Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, Beihai Park, the Summer Palace, and Mutianyu Great Wall. Now, let's start the Beijing trip!
3. Day 1: Tiananmen Square & Forbidden City: After breakfast, take three subway stops from the hotel to reach Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. The hotel staff thoughtfully reminded us to bring our documents and noted some things to be careful about. They also told us how to cover the entire Forbidden City in one go, saving us many detours β very thoughtful. After the Forbidden City, we conveniently visited Beihai Park, which is very close. At the end of the day, we ate old Beijing luzhu (braised pork offal stew) and zhajiangmian (noodles with fried bean sauce).
4. Day 2: Summer Palace: I was a bit tired from yesterday's sightseeing and overslept, missing the hotel breakfast. However, the front desk staff informed us via WeChat that they had prepared a simple meal for us. After eating, we set off for the Summer Palace!
5. Day 3: Mutianyu Great Wall: As the saying goes, 'He who has not climbed the Great Wall is not a true man.' This time I chose to visit Mutianyu Great Wall. I didn't take the cable car, feeling it wasn't worth itβ120 yuan for just a few minutes. I walked up the steps, reaching Tower 10 in about ten minutes. The farther left you go, the higher it gets, all the way to the top!
