Recently, Baishishan Scenic Area has been graced with continuous magnificent sea of clouds spectacles—breathtaking and stunningly beautiful. If you wonder where immortals dwell, it's right in the Baishi sea of clouds. At the summit of Baishishan, above the clouds, layers of mist roll and swirl, like light gauze or ocean waves, as if standing by the seashore. The stunning sea of clouds rushes to greet you. Mountains and waters wordless, presenting the utmost beauty of the world. Clouds move silently, in a silence of all sounds. Every step reveals a new enchanting view. Walking in the mountains, you stand ethereal, as if roaming in a traditional Chinese painting. Immersed in Baishishan's natural oxygen bar, you'll be intoxicated in this cloud-woven wonderland. Endless poetry and romance arise. You might wish to leave the mundane world to seek immortals. Recently, influenced by the weather, Baishishan has been enveloped by the sea of clouds. Baishishan Scenic Area is located in Laiyuan County, Baoding City, renowned for its marble peak forest landform. It is a Global Geopark and a national 5A-level tourist attraction. Here you can: experience the unique marble peak forest; traverse the thrilling cliffside plank roads; admire the magnificent sea of clouds; savor a romantic cloud-top coffee; and encounter the sacred Shanmeng Terrace (Love Vow Terrace).

East Gate: Bus (30 minutes), Xiangyunmen Sightseeing Cable Car (8 minutes)

West Gate: Cuipingfeng Sightseeing Cable Car (10 minutes)

It is recommended that children under 8 and seniors over 60 take the cable car up the mountain.

By car:

From Beijing via Zhangshi Expressway, about 2.5 hours; from Tianjin via Rongwu Expressway, about 2.5 hours; from Shijiazhuang via Taihangshan Expressway, about 1.5 hours; from Xiong'an New Area or Baoding via Rongwu Expressway, about 1 hour. Exit at Laiyuan South.

Independent travelers by bus:

Regular buses from Beijing Yongdingmen Bus Station and Baoding Passenger Transport Center to Laiyuan, once per hour; fixed daily schedules from Tianjin West Passenger Transport Station and Shijiazhuang Yunheqiao Passenger Transport Station to Laiyuan.

By train:

One daily train from Beijing to Laiyuan.
