The benefits of RV travel go without saying, so today I've prepared some tips on RV camping and parking!
Where to park for RV camping
Location 1: Scenic Areas
At night, scenic areas are largely empty, making them peaceful, safe, with pleasant surroundings and fresh air. Of course, some areas don't allow RVs. Those that do make the best parking spots; a small fee may be required, which is fine. Some attractions are free, and you can park freely once inside.
Location 2: Large Shopping Mall Parking Lots
Parking lots at large shopping malls are also a good choice – safe and reliable. Plus, many malls have 24-hour McDonald's and KFC outlets. If you call ahead, they might even help with water and electricity hookups. It's great. However, some lots charge after a certain time, so be sure to ask beforehand.
Location 3: Hotel Parking Lots
As hubs for travelers, hotel parking lots are generally safe, and you can often get water and electricity.
Location 4: Urban Scenic Spots
Every city has its signature landmarks – famous sights like museums, forest parks, People's Park, etc. Parking there is very safe and comfortable. And in the morning, just open the window to a view.
Location 5: Village Committee Compounds or Village Squares
If you're traveling in rural areas, you can park your RV in a village committee compound or on a square – it's safe and reliable.
Location 6: Highway Service Areas
Service areas are a top choice for many. Facilities and amenities are good, and overnight RV parking is no problem.
When parking at these places, especially in city areas, be sure to follow traffic rules and avoid illegal parking.
It's the height of summer, everything is lush and green. Drive safely and get ready to hit the road. Head for the grasslands or the sea, with blue skies and white clouds as your companions, sleep under the stars and the moon. An RV road trip awaits you!
