The terrain of Guiyuan Town is majestic with diverse landforms. In the scenic area, you can see cliffs, deep gorges, and other unique terrains, making it a holy land for sightseeing.

01 Xiaoyanwo Tiankeng (Little Swallow's Nest Sinkhole)

This area has a subtropical monsoon humid climate with an annual temperature of 17.9°C.

Xiaoyanwo Tiankeng is a typical karst funnel landform. It is a natural sheer cliff, towering and upright, yet it is a rare tiankeng that ordinary tourists can walk down to the bottom. Looking up from the bottom, Xiaoyanwo is both magnificent and elegant.

Adjacent to the tiankeng is the "Cliff Library." The design retains the original tobacco-curing house and, through the dialogue of wood, tile, brick, stone, glass, and steel, showcases a blend of tradition and modernity, leaving traces of time. Here, people share knowledge, share everything about the city and the countryside, and gain expectations for the future from here.

Dreamy and romantic Cliff Library

The Zhixintang Restaurant was rebuilt from the ancestral hall of the original village, serving as the spiritual heritage of the entire community. "Zhi" originally means a grass whose fragrance stops people in their tracks. The word "stop the heart" is intended to allow visitors to cease their inner worries, irritations, and unhappiness, to forget the hustle and bustle of daily work and life, and to fully enjoy the slow life of returning to the countryside.

02 Laohubao (Tiger Fort)

This is the highest point of Guiyuan Town. It forms a convex-concave pairing with Xiaoyanwo Tiankeng,

symbolizing the unity of yin and yang. Inside the fort are ground fissure tiankeng, Niuwan Bay, Guangming Peak, etc.

It includes adventure trails, regular trails, overlook platforms, and exploration experiences of tiankeng and ground fissures. The jungle secret adventure is a journey of self-discovery of wildness. During the challenge, you can not only enjoy the fresh air from the trees and the authentic scent of soil.

The Fruit and Vegetable Commune is located at the core of the scenic area, covering nearly 100 mu (about 16.5 acres).

After unified planning, it features specialty fruits, organic vegetables, high mountain tea, and other varieties.

In Guiyuan Orchard, everything is all-natural—from difficult site selection, seed selection and seedling cultivation, irrigation and fertilization, to harvesting according to the season. All follow the most primitive cultivation methods: no chemical fertilizers, no pesticides, allowing vegetables and fruits to return to their own flavors.

03 Guiyuan Old Teahouse

Guiyuan Old Teahouse was originally a house where local villagers lived. This small farmhouse had become exceptionally old due to its age. Later, the villagers moved away, and the old house was left abandoned.

When the decision was made to renovate this old house into Guiyuan Teahouse, the designer discovered that although the house was old, the timber was all solid wood. To avoid destroying the flavor left by the old house, they had to restore the original appearance on the existing foundation using modern techniques.

Therefore, an old traditional carpenter was invited to craft the old teahouse through eight procedures. The renovation process was extremely complex, requiring very high standards for each step, and every piece of wood embodies the countless efforts and sweat of the old carpenter.

The old wood-fired stove, all square tables and bamboo chairs, dozens of copper teapots, hundreds of blue-and-white porcelain cups, a pot of steaming tea, a plate of peanuts—drink a cup of old times in the old teahouse, watching people come and go amid the fragrant tea.

04 Little Swallow Paradise

The green lawn beside the corridor of Guiyuan Town is our Little Swallow Paradise, instantly pulling us into a poetic life. Have a parent-child soccer match, roll on the grass, and smell the fragrance of the grass.

it is undoubtedly a wonderful experience that both parents and children eagerly look forward to.

05 Sightseeing and Recreation

Guiyuan Town is built along the mountain slopes, with birds singing and insects chirping, offering beautiful scenery. Climbing to the high point of the scenic area, you can overlook the Wulong urban area and gaze at Baima Mountain in the distance. Visitors can fully enjoy the beautiful natural scenery of Guiyuan Legu Scenic Area.

The scenic area has introduced many guesthouse brands such as "Dengfeng" (Waiting for the Wind), "Manwu" (Slow House), "Guanmeng" (Viewing Dreams), and "Yiqimeisu" (Beauty Together), making it a rare cluster of high-quality guesthouses in China. They enjoy high popularity both domestically and internationally, with high sightseeing and recreational value.

Many were designed by well-known designers, and four of them were created by the original design team of "Dear Inn." They are not only beautiful places to stay but also ingenious architectural artworks in themselves.

The guesthouse "Hao Yuanzi" (Good Courtyard) is built by the mountainside, facing the valley, with a gentle breeze blowing, very refreshing. After passing through the spacious terrace, there is a courtyard. The lofts and side rooms on both sides appear well-proportioned, with carved patterns and layered shadows. It has the openness of a large courtyard house in the northwest and the exquisiteness of a southern courtyard. Sitting in bamboo chairs, drinking tea and reading, there is a sense of rural comfort.

Rural dwellings need to be carefully designed by architects. Modernist floor-to-ceiling glass windows are mixed with original wooden suspended ceilings, and spacious private courtyards set up children's tents for play and fun.
