Once spring arrives, all things revive. Flowers are red, grass is green, and everywhere is a vibrant, beautiful scene. Having not gone out for a long time, it's inevitable to feel that life lacks some fun. On this weekend in mid-April, I made an appointment with good friends to go to 广州增城 to soak in hot springs, wash away fatigue, and live a wellness-oriented life. We specially chose the 森林海温泉度假酒店 (Forest Sea Hot Spring Resort Hotel) located near the 白水寨 4A Scenic Area. Detailed address: 派潭镇白水寨 No. 101.

Coming here, you can briefly take off your mask. The environment, nestled by mountains and waters, with extremely high negative ion content, is simply an ideal vacation destination. It is said to be a new internet-famous tourist landmark in 增城, a place very suitable for a check-in photo.

Departing from 广州 city center, driving about over 100 kilometers, it takes over an hour by car. If not in a hurry, you can also take the subway leisurely like we did, though transferring here and there is a bit inconvenient. Metro Line 14 → 从化 13 Road (takes over two hours).

This hotel’s room occupancy rate is very high. Many visitors come with the whole family. I strongly recommend their parent-child themed duplex suites, which include three major themes: forest, starry sky, and ocean. They also introduce metasilicic acid radon-containing genuine hot spring water directly into the rooms, allowing both adults and children to enjoy a forest vacation time.

The starry sky room is mainly in blue and white tones, dreamy and romantic, with a futuristic sense of space travel.

The overall tone of the forest room is predominantly green, and the animal paintings on the walls add a lot of fun to the room, like stepping into a fairy tale.

The 雅荔轩 Chinese restaurant here emphasizes the original fresh and true flavors of ingredients. From decoration, layout, and arrangements to the cooking, naming, and presentation of dishes, everything is permeated with the characteristic culture of 增城.

We enjoyed a Stone Pit Lake eco-fish feast, which tasted quite good. I recommend it to everyone.

After a satisfying meal, it's a good time for a digestive stroll to the nearby 白水寨, only two kilometers from the hotel.

Here it is praised as the magnificent jade on the Tropic of Cancer. Come hiking here, breathe the pure fresh air, temporarily forget the city's noisy bustle, calm your heart, and feel the beauty of nature's gifts.

It also boasts the waterfall with the largest drop in Mainland 中国, the 白水仙瀑, with extremely high negative ion content, a natural oxygen bar that delights the spirit and cleanses the lungs...

A spontaneous trip might be put on hold for various reasons, but arranging a short weekend wellness trip only requires taking your loved one and setting off.
