The Ultimate Summer Kid-Friendly Spot in Guangzhou: Happy Ark at Anhua Hui
On a scorching summer day, where can you take your little ones for a fun outing?
Rumor has it that a giant ship spanning 30,000 square meters has landed on the rooftop of Anhua Hui,
set to joyfully set sail on June 20th!
There will also be special discount package tickets to snap up,
enough for you and your child to have a full day of fun "on board."
The Happy Ark Theme Park
This eye-catching giant ship is a full three stories high,
a playground perfectly suited for kids.
The ship is none other than – Happy Ark Theme Park,
where you can encounter all sorts of surprises and animals.
Now, let Little Roubao guide you aboard first and share what’s in store!
1F – Happy Ark’s First Floor Theme Pavilion
Upon entering the first floor of Happy Ark, the first thing you see are dinosaurs that nod their heads in greeting, as if you’ve traveled back in time to the Jurassic era.
Walking inside feels like stepping into a prehistoric forest, meeting various dinosaurs among the trees. These dinosaurs even interact with visitors through sensors.
There are also lots of interactive games to try here.
In front of a 90-degree screen, you can watch the history of Happy Ark. Through dual-image projection, you’ll feel like you’re experiencing a “supernatural phenomenon”: journey through time and space with Zhouzhou (the mascot of Happy Ark). The photos you can take here are quite beautiful, by the way~~
You can also enter a room and wave your hands, causing the images on the walls to change into various undersea scenes – schools of sharks, mysterious and tranquil jellyfish, and colorful little fish, all vibrant and fantastical.
In the flower garden, pick up a ladle and pour in clear water, and the flowers bloom while butterflies flutter about.
Little Roubao can also play with sand in the sandbox here; thanks to 3D sensing, high piles become volcanoes, flat areas turn into grasslands and plains, and low-lying spots become lakes – kids can create their own little world!
2F: A Dreamy Insect World – Butterfly Valley
Leaving the prehistoric forest behind, you step into a dreamlike fairy-tale world, with birdsong, fragrant flowers, and butterflies all around – you’ll feel like a little princess who just walked out of a storybook.
If there’s one thing that steals the show on the second floor of Happy Ark, it’s the gigantic Tree of Life. This colossal tree has a purple crown of flowers and is incredibly dreamy – definitely an Instagram-worthy spot you can’t miss.
Inside the Tree of Life live over 1,000 butterflies, and with them fluttering about, the scene is truly magical.
In the insect museum, you’ll see all kinds of insects and insect specimens.
Playful rhinoceros beetles, colorful butterflies, hardworking ants – they’re all on display here. Little Roubao followed the guide into the fascinating world of insects, and through her explanations, he learned about their characteristics, experienced their wonders, and gained an appreciation for the marvels of nature.
The insect museum also has fun AR games where Little Roubao can pick up a toy gun and battle against a variety of pests.
After the insects, it’s time to see some intriguing reptiles.
Adorable and docile lizards live here, and these little lizards have amazing camouflage skills – spotting them requires keen eyes and careful attention.
Apart from lizards, there are also various snakes. The colorful corn snake and other non-venomous little snakes are not fierce at all; they’re very cute. You can also see turtles, frogs, and spiders here.
3F: Happy Ark’s Cute Pet Pavilion
This floor is themed around ecological landscapes and cute pet culture, giving you the feeling of traversing from desert oases to dune paradises and rocky desert caves.
Here you’ll encounter many reptiles and birds, with different themed zones like the Dark Zone, Tree Hole Adventures, Exotic Reptiles, and Desert Wanderers, featuring nearly 40 different species of small animals.
Children can get up close with these adorable creatures, observe their daily lives, and share in the joy their cuteness brings.
Completing the tour and leaving the ship feels like traveling through time and space all over again.
The cute animals from the various cabins also come outside, so you can capture wonderful photos with them – a rainbow after the storm is always the brightest.
Outdoors, there are even more exciting spots to experience.
A big maze lets you and your child enjoy the thrill of adventure, holding hands as you find the way to the destination – that feeling is always pure bliss.
Kids can splash and play in the water here, washing away the summer heat. The water play area uses an Archimedes water system, so children can learn while having fun.
There are also small fish in the water, and children can catch these cute fish themselves to take home.
Romantic Lawn Laser Music Show
The spacious outdoor lawn becomes the most eye-catching spot at night. It can host various family activities, salons, and gatherings, and there will be a series of summer camp events to join in the future.
Every evening at 7:30 p.m., a spectacular light show takes place, using spotlights and special lighting to create the mysterious route of the Happy Ark sailing through time and space.
Lights paired with music give the night a mysterious and fantastical vibe, making it exceptionally wonderful.
Bringing Little Roubao to Happy Ark, there was enough space for us to enjoy ourselves for the better part of a day.
Beyond allowing Little Roubao to play and explore nature, the greatest part was the joyful time we spent together.
Exploring the mysteries of the world with him – that’s the biggest takeaway from our visit to Happy Ark!
